It is great. a minimal design flaw, no brainer
Krausz 31.08.2015
It is sturdy, stable, and can hold perfectly a Studiologic SL990 of 20 kg. The height is just fine, in the minimum position where one can block the legs with the 4 screws this way comes on 75 cm from the ground level to the keys top in my case. If you do not use those 4 screws, you can lower an additional 3 cm. Anyway lower than an actual piano, so unless your keyboard is not particularly huge [in height], you can have a comfortable hight setting.
The only issue are those screws which hold together the extension of the two lateral parts. Those are disposed "looking" downwards at almost the middle of the stand. And in my case, I repeatedly hit my kneecap in them each time I sit down to play. One solution would be to throw away one screw, and the stand is stable, because the other screw holds the distal tube. Another solution would be to throw away the above mentioned screw and get a power drill, and drill a horizontal hole through the external quadratic tube and the internal inox tube, and put a regular screwer holding everything together. Obviously who designed this stand was somebody who never played any keyboard on the prototype or was a short person, or used a higher position of the stand. A suggestion [for the designer] would be to place those 2 screws in horizontal, facing each other, and not downwards. This way it doesn't bother anyone's knee [who is tall], and also much easier to put together.

Nice keyboard stand when using pedals
Gerard Toets 10.02.2024
Bought this one to go with my Hammond SKX-pro. This keyboard accepts a lot of pedals: expression pedal, Lesley switch, sustain pedal, extra switch (e.g. for stepping presets). A lot of pedals underneath!

I could not use that with a keyboard stand with crossed legs. You see them a lot, they look like an X-shape.

I studied the pictures of this KS-2000 together with soms more expensive and also cheaper ones. From the picture showing details of the construction, I've chosen for this KS-2000. When it came it turned out a good choice for me: it completely meets my expectations for a good, stable and sturdy stand, which is easy to move.

I needed to adjust the stand once to match the feet under my keyboard, the height for my arms and hands and then all this is set. For moving to an other place I only have to pick up the stand, the legs are easily folded in. For setting up, just fold the legs outside and there you are. No adjustment to do.

There is only one minus: I could not find a accessory matching this stand for mounting a (small) second keyboard above it, like my 40 year old DX7. Or perhaps a vintage monosynth. But for me this is less important.

Not the cheapest, but quite good
Endre_ 06.07.2020
I wouldn't call it super sturdy but it doesn't really wobble either. Super simple to install. Individually adjustable legs with the usual screws on the bottom. Small footprint if you need to clean under it.
As a very casual user I'd call the price the biggest negative, but if you're like me you'll look carefully at the options and wouldn't want the cheapest stand possible for your instrument.
I use it for my Kawai stage piano that I use casually at home as a beginner / hobbyist.

OK, if you are a keyboarder who likes to sit on a barstool
Anonim 16.06.2015
When I initially got the product I was very pleased about its robustness, and the top makes it quite slip resistant which is great for heavier gigging. However, what disappointed me when I finally received my Kawai ES100 digital piano a week later, is that the stand is way too high even at its lowest setting. This is a poor design fault. At this setting I will constantly get backaches trying to play my keyboard as a piano, rather than a keyboard. the height of the ivories is 78 cm above the floor at the lowest stand setting, this is about 10 cm above the setting for a regular grand.
