Rockin' awesome!
No matter what you are doing you will need a termination on any cable. And on the hurry setting up or packing you can be rough with the cables. No matter how many abuses they are standing it seems that Neutrik connectors are made for life. And indeed I still have a mic connector since my teenage years that is now on one of my cables and working!!! That is 25 yrs old and still rockin'. Awesome!

Easy to build, easy to use
I use this cable for making custom audio cables.
This connector is very easy to use and it makes very strong and durable built cable. All is nice and tight.
You can use a lot of solider and very thick cable, also, because terminals are wide and perfect even if you have little experience with solider iron. Screw type tip of the connector goes nice and tight. It has a clicking stop feature - your can will not unscrew by accident.
Perfect connector for the price. If you are building cables, this is right connector for you!

Industry standard plug
I could just finish this review off in one word: Neutrik.
It is really an industry standard. Sturdy, easy to solder, and noiseless. Top quality, just like all the other Neutrik products.
I can reccomend for everybody, really. You will not dissatisfied with it, it will outlive your other plugs.

SUPERB, PRACTICAL AND BEAUTIFULLY DESIGNED
I've always liked Neutrick products.... and there range of XLR stuff is no exception. The plugs are easy to solder and the strain relief is very, very effective. Also the solder tabs are one piece with the pins, so no chance or things working loose and affecting signal quality.... Very highly recommended.

No instructions
I got these to replace a couple of XLR connections on a multicore connected to a sound desk in a small theatre.
I was lucky enough to have an electrician friend with a soldering iron to fit these because there are no instructions - all that you'd need would be a diagram with wire colours etc like you get on an electric plug! The electrician used the old XLR as an example so he knew what he was doing.
They work. And they're Neutrik, so are good quality and seem hard wearing and should last a while! And they're good value for such a quality product.
