Best strings so far

Classic lover 04.04.2023

In my opinion these strings are the best, beautiful rich sound, soft in touch, very good for great instruments (5k$ to 25k$ violins and more)

A single thing to mention that they have the best sound in the first 6 - 8 weeks, then the sound starts to fade, but i guess perfection doesn t exist.

I use this type of strings since many years and I love them. For sure best choice for any professional violinist.

As Pirastro's Evah Pirazzi is almost like a "industry standard" where I live for high-price strings, this is really nice upgrade. With this price tag there is no surprise that these strings plays and sounds awesome. Pirazzi Gold offers all good things that Pirazzi's gives and much more - a lot more of nice overtone action, nice long sustain, no muddiness, brilliant and full bodied tone, instant response and easy playability. Tuning stability is almost instant as you put them on but you have to break them in for about 3 days. These strings are a bit higher tension still being mediums.

As for G-Gold vs G-Silver there is no better or worse. Player should choose a tonal preference according to his own style - G-silver gives more brilliant tone but G-gold produces round and full tone. For example, for mine violin witch has nice, beautiful and very powerful bottom end, I choose G-silver set, that gives me nice balanced sound.

the best I've played with

these are very good very warm strings
It is like your playing a new instrument .
Although they are very expensive I last quite a while (in my case around a year).
So if you can afford them, it's definitely worth it.
