Great rectifier valves
I bought these valves to replace a blown rectifier valve in one of the two Vox AC30s owned by our Beatles Tribute band, and to keep as spares. We are a professional act and require top quality and reliability. Sadly, the AC30cc amps that we use have an inherent fault where if you leave them on standby for any length of time, there is a tendency for the rectifier valve to blow. It took us a little while (and a few valves!) to figure this out, but now we know to avoid leaving the amps on standby. With this precaution, and our new TAD RT501 GZ34 valves, the AC30s have been working and sounding better than ever.

It glows!
I bought this yube for a friend who wanted to change the tubes of his Orange AD30TC. We just installed it so I can't say anything about the durability of the tube, but it looks as sturdy as a glass made object can look ;) the base is big and chunky for sure, which is cool because sometimes tubes can be a bit hard to pull out from their sockets, this gives you something to grab firmly

Reliable and good sounding
I've been using this tube on my Fender Deluxe Reverb and it's been working perfectly after the original tube failed.

Works great so far
It's difficult to evaluate a rectifier tube since they don't wear out. I've replaced the stock valve within my orange AD15, but at the same time I replaced both preamp tubes after a full service, there was something wrong with it. Now the amp sounds even better than before, I assume part of it it's the rectifier tube

I've retubed a vox ac30 cc2 with this rectifier tube among others and it sounds great now !

Last about 3 years every time, always carry a spare.
Different makes of these do change the sound of my amplifiers. This one is good for me.
