This may be corrected by using it IN FRONT of the amp, because of the gain staging. I mean, let's be honest, you probably won't want a shimmer verb on distortion anyway so it shouldn't affect the tone too much to notice.

Great shimmer effect, sounds beautiful. Easy to work with and balance.

Overall I do recommend this pedal, as long as the buyer keeps in mind the volume drop.
