seemed great, but comes without any direction on how to use the product
I bought this as I became conscious of different people using my mic at gigs and realised that not only should I not allow members of the public breath and spit all over my mic , but I should really buy a product to keep it clean.
I bought this cleaner as it seems reasonably priced and handy.
If I'm honest, I’m a little disappointed.. mainly because it arrived with ZERO instructions on how to use it. I know its not exactly rocket science but I have no idea whether i just spray it on and leave it, or whether i spray and wipe off? Etc etc..
Not the end of the world but is just strange and kinda feels like a waste of money.
Pros.. if you are already familiar with how to use these cleaners, it is probably great and value for money, but if not... see cons.

Nice smelling mics
As a rehearsal studio our mics get a lot of use. You wouldn't know it though. They look and smell great.

A litte tool to keep your mic "clean"
It's a strange moments with the pandemic around and now more then ever you have to pay a particular attention to how you manage your mic from session to session. I can not say can kill the COVID virus (no mention about this on the enclosure) but for sure it cleans and sanitize your beloved mic. I use it on dynamic and condenser mics (paying attention to not use it on the capsules) and I don't see any problem but only time will tell so I don't express a complete judgment about protection.

Microphone Cleaner Spray
BE CAREFUL not to spray towards your capsule. Use this for cheap dynamic mics that many people use. It will help with the mouth odors but it won't promise you bacteria protection. Wash your microphone grilles with soap and water, your dishwasher or with steam! Singers will be grateful.

perfect "on the field" solution
I usually clean my microphones by removing grills and washing them in mild detergent solution, but when working on festivals that last days there is no time to do this or wait while the grills dry out so this is a perfect solution to keep your microphones clean and odour free for the next performer. I've been thanked many times by guest crew for having this one with me.

Very useful extra for a busy rehearsal place
We use this for our 20 or so SM58s that are used for rehearsal sessions everyday and night.
Just a quick spritz with this to stop the mic from clinging onto the smell of whatever the last user ate for tea and they're good to go.
I'm not sure how well it's actually cleaning the mic grille or protecting the grille from rust etc but in terms of removing odour and making it unpleasant to handle (let alone, put your mouth against) it certainly helps!

I think its working?!
Its hard to say for sure that this product works but I havent contracted herpes yet so thats a plus. I usually use then when sharing mics with other people and so far I havent come down with anything serious, haha. Its main for my peace of mind. Prevention is better than cure and all that.

A must buy
It is very good cleaner. Everyone should buy it and clean microphones with it. The cleaning efficiency is superb.

It's an age old problem and not one that's always been readily solved - how do you maintain hygiene without destroying your mic..?
This looks like a pretty simple answer :-)
Can it rock up like Mr Muscle and simply strip years of neglect, sweat and spit from your favourite microphone with just one squirt of the top..? Probably not... but used regularly, yes, it can keep that microphone feeling fresh and clean.
I've treated several mics (Beta 58s and a Neumann KMS 105) to an application of this - of course, it's best to remove the ball / grille and apply it inside and out without needed to drench the mic capsule itself over and over again - and yes, I'd have to say that I have confidence in the product's claims.
Even though it's a small can, it lasts a while and at the very least, it's got to be better than not bothering at all, right..?
