very comfortable drum throne much better than my old gilbert, every thing is good about this drums i could use it for long periods with no back pain.
but if you play fast double bass, this won't give your legs motion the freedom you need, i feel like the edge of the throne works against my legs motion, right now I am ordering a round drum throne from pork pie trying to overcome this problem.

Great if you have a back problem
I started caring about seats when I got a slipped disc, whereby if I sit in an unergonomic chair for too long my back starts to hurt. I didn't have high expectations but I felt I had to order something to try and alleviate the pain.
To my surprise, after only 2-3 days of sitting on this chair, my back pain was gone. I had read it was developed by a doctor specializing in back pain, but I just assumed that was marketing fluff, but it really does work.
To anyone who suffers from back problems the same as I do, don't hesitate, spend the money and use it, not just for drums but for computing as well. Thank me later.
The back support is quite flimsy, but it's not supposed to be used with a chair like this regardless, the seat is supposed to encourage you to naturally straighten up and sit upright, and it works, I don't normally sit upright but with this chair I found myself sitting upright without thinking about it. Marvelous. Get it!

Awesome throne for big people
Really comfortable throne, especially for people with back problems or tall ones (i'm 191cm). I would recommend to anyone, as the throne is one of the most important thing on a drumkit.
If i had to do it again, I may not have purchased the backrest as i don't use it and believe it doesn't help in my use case.
