Denna 16-steg sekvensierare har både för- och nackdelar:
+ 2 CV ut för 2x8 stegs sekvenser
+ stegfri inställning av CV ut för noter
+ går att kaskadkoppla med fler moduler av samma sort för >16 steg

Modulen har en del "dolda" funktioner, som inte är helt uppenbara hur man når dem:
+ gåt att köra med audio rate fart för att användas som waveshaper
+ tystade steg om maan kopplar med ytterligare en 182 modul och en 173 (ofta förbisedd möjlighet)
+ steglängd att variera hjälpligt med mha ytterligare en 182 och en VCO

- de "dolda" features kunde varit mer lättillgängliga som i andra sekveniserare
- steg fri CV ut, kvantifiering kan behövas om man spelar noter

Säga vad man vill om denna modul, men den är en trogen återgivning av originalet och således är den rätt så enkel featuremässigt. Med lite kreativitet och några hjälpmoduler till går det dock att lura ur mer funktionalitet ur denna modul.

Byggkvaliteten, som i alla Behringers system 100m, är utmärkt, och kompromissen med rattarnas storlek är acceptabel. Om man vill använda 182:an för att spela noter bör man ha en kvantifiera nära till hands.

Personligen använder jag modulen mer till modulering i racket än rena notsekvernser, även om det händer också. Har 4 st i mitt 4 rösters System 100m rack och är mycket nöjd med den.

Ok for the price

This module is a hit and miss. If you, like me, have problems with your grip - if your finger joints hurt easily - then this is NOT your favourite module. Stay away! The pots are very, very stiff and hard to turn. On the second day of use my ”wiggle thumb” hurt badly and is (hopefully not for long) disabled.
That aside, the sequencer works mostly as expected. But there are some issues. Some functions are only available when clocked internally. But then there are no means to syncronize - well, apart from using the gate out, but that does not always give you the desired result. Trig in is used to start and stop the sequence - when running in repeat or single mode. To clock the sequence from an external source, only the setting ”step” can be used. But in that mode there is no trig out at the end of the sequence, as stated in the manual.
The original module had the output selectable 3 or 10 volts, if I’m not mistaken. For some reason (beyond me) Behringer opted for a compromise: 5 volts. I think that was not the best choise. Five octaves in one turn of a tiny trim pot - well, good luck with that! And only five volts for opening a filter fully - or whatever you want to use the CV for - that may not be enough. Of course the first problem can be mitigated with an attenuater before the VCO or the quantizer. That’s how I have been running it. Until my thumb gave up…

Well done! easy to use out of the box

I was not expecting much from Behringer…. in the pas I was very disappointed with their products but since their eurorack modules got good reviews here and there, I decided to go ahead and try it. I must say that i am very happy with all the modules in the 100 systems (missing only 2 for now) they are well built. all the modules have the same built quality. the sliders, pots and leds are very good. offers enough resistance and easily fine tuned. Of course some times it might be difficult to handle if you have big fingers but the eurorack format is what it is. The designs respects the Roland system 100 at a fraction of the price back then. I believe I will expend my rack with the othe modules soon. many hours of music and fun ahead!

Nice basic sequencing

I nickname this one the "poor man's dark time". Basically the same 8 steps two lanes either parallel or linear, two cv/gate out, a clock in, and in addition a switch to choose between repeat and single play. What's missing is selecting octave, voltage, and cv-in for ext controlled transpose. But then of course the price tag would be doubled. The decoders do not freewheel at all, so they stay exactly put as the first time set. Nice the knobs for pulse width, tempo and glide. For basic sequencing this is a very easy to use littel beast.
