Electro Harmonix Tri Parallel Mixer
I have owned the Electro Harmonix Tri Parallel Mixer for some time now, and I can safely say that it is an amazing device for sonic experimentation. It doesn't just mix signals, it opens up a whole world of new sonic possibilities.

Saved my life
This is the ultimate monkeywrench for my bass pedalboard. Basically a mini 3-channel mixer. It gives you a very high degree of control to mix in distortion or other effects you might want to mix into your dry signal. It can be challenging to dial in, because it is not a simple "blend", so it takes a little dialing to get the right mix of effect and dry.

I have two of these in my signal chain. It's a great tool not just for mixing your effects in parallel, it's also useful for your digital pedals that don't have analogue dry trough. Haven't tried it as a signal splitter but if you need to split your signal to three outputs with eq control and phase flip there are not as many options besides this pedal. Actually this might be the only one that can do that.
It takes some space on your pedal board but if they could make it smaller I'm sure they would have done it.

Praktischer Mixer
Der Tri Parallel Mixer kommt EHX-typisch sehr solide daher, gleichsam "built like a tank".
Die Flexibilität für verschiedene Einsatzzwecke ist großartig:
- 4-fach Signalsplitter (output + 3 x send),
- 4 Signale zusammenführen (input + 3 x return)
- für Effektgeräte, die keinen dry/fx-Regler haben, wenn man das unbearbeitete Signal aber zusammen mit dem Effekt haben möchte.
Einziger Wehrmutstropfen: Warum sind input & output nicht auch auf der Rückseite gelandet? Vielleicht wäre das Kästchen dann 3mm höher ausgefallen, aber es hätte Platz auf dem Board gespart. Andere Hersteller kriegen zwei Buchen übereinander auf der Rückseite durchaus hin ..., deshalb ein Sternchen weniger. Ansonsten: hochzufrieden.

Parrallel = ouaw
I use it on my pedal board to mix different pedal effects (in parallel :) )
If you wonder what the difference between serie or parallel I recommend to go check some video. What I discovered up to now is how it is cool with delays or overdrive/disto/fuzz. You can literally mix your pedal to make new sounds espically for overdrive/disto/fuzz.
5 Stars because of:

Its a tone cookpot!
If you have drive pedals that dont like to be stacked, effects that are not subtle enough or simply just too many pedals -this is great. Obviously this allows for parallel blending of independent sounds, but I was surprised of how useful this actually was. I have just started experimenting with this thing, but I immediately realized the potential for sculpting my own unique tone. At this price it is probably not a fair comment, but I wish it had HP/LP filters as well. However, careful use of levels and eq will take you a long way. Top product.

Does what it says on the tin
A nice unit, if a little large, but then EHX units generally are.
Not much to say on it really, it's a three-band mixer which is quiet, so that's good. Also allows independent control over the send and return signals for each channel, so each channel can be fine-tuned to best suit whatever's plugged in to it - say if the first item in the chain needs more beef to the input, but the output of the last item in the send/return loop is pretty hot, that can all be accommodated. Not a massively sophisticated unit, but then it doesn't really need to be.

No hum, no fuss, very flexibel and nice pricepoint
I really like the possibilities:
- parallel mixer, mixing tones and effects in a nice balance without effecting each other (especially when you can adjust the tone, gain and phase on each of the three parallel connections)
- the option to use it as a splitter, using (in my case) two amps (I guess in theory you could use up to four amps).
Comes with a good power adapter and while not unintentionally influence your tone, selectors make no noticeable click in the signal chain.
