I've tested these rigorously by my own means, going so far as spinning the bass around by the strap over my head, and it did not move or drop. These are perfect for anyone that wants to minimise damage done to their instrument in a live or rehearsal setting, and I highly recommend for any intermediate to advanced guitar/bass players!

I've always used the Dunlops, but for my new guitar I chose the ernie ball strap locks and I really prefer them. They are minimal, the screws are similar to the most factory ones compared to the Dunlops which are usually bigger and fatter making the screwing harder and kinda frustrating because you don't really feel safe pushing the screw so hard into the guitar body. Additionally, screwing the nut to the strap is way better and easier when you want to swap straps compared to the Dunlops....Highly reccomended!
