Kawai MP-11 SE

Min andra el-piano hittils. Jag tror inte att man kan köpa bättre:D. Vägde tangenter känns som riktigt piano. Ljudet är utmärkt - har jätte fina ljud preset inbygda. Man kan spela in musik på usb-sticka som jag tycker är praktisk. Jag spelar piano sedan jag var 6 år... Måste säga att det är mycket bättre att skaffa sig en kawaimp11-se än en akusik piano. Mer fördelar -är mycket lätt om man jämför det med akustik piano, tyst -man kan spela med hörlurar på oavsett av klocksläge, lättare att ta med sig när man flyttar. Ger flera kreativa möjligheter (akustik piano låter alltid på samma sätt:)). Behövs inte stämmas!

Spelkänslan är på topp. Spela på riktiga pianotangenter är superhärligt. Pianoljudet är bra och i kombination med den fina klaviaturen så blir det höga poäng från mig. Man kan spela väldigt mjukt och tyst och få fram tonerna samtidigt som de växer när man spelar snabbt och hårt. Repetera toner snabbt är också en fröjd. Finns modernare gränssnitt i deras nya Novus 5s mfl och fler ljud är alltid bra. Fler bra basljud vore toppen, men jag har möjlighet att använda alla mina andra synthar för det ändamålet. Men för pianodelen så är den riktigt bra. Tung, men jag kommer ha den i studion.

I have been playing on an acoustic piano for most of my life, but for a while now I have felt the need for a more quiet solution. The priority in my search for a digital piano was mostly to get the action right, and after some digging around I stumbled upon this one and basically heard only praises about it. I did not have the chance to try out the keyboard beforehand, but I had tried the Kawai ES8 and from what I remembered the action was pretty good on that one. So, I went ahead and ordered it, and so far I am extremely satisfied with it.

The first thing you will realize is that the piano is very well built; even the pedal system feels sturdy even though it is made of plastic. The action is probably as close as you can come to a real grand piano in a stage piano; it feels very natural and the wooden keys with ivory touch really make it feel authentic. I was also quite surprised by the sounds: The pianos do sound a bit bland out of the box, but with a few tweaks you can make them sound better than some VSTs out there. The E. Pianos are also phenomenal and the SUB section has some good samples as well. I also like what Kawai has done with the layout and interface of the keyboard; it is very easy to understand the gist of it and make small adjustments, but you can also dig deep if you want to.

The only downsides I can find are that the piano is quite heavy and large (deeper than most stage pianos) and that there are not any inbuilt speakers. However, since I am mostly practicing with headphones, the absence of inbuilt speakers does not bother me that much.

I am using this piano for a practicing and in my home studio as a main source of piano sound and midi controller.
In my opinion, it has the best hammer action You can get on a market these days. I work as a professional pianist and keyboard player over 15 years and tried many top end stage pianos from Nord, Yamaha and Roland, So far this is the closest touch to real piano I ever played.

Sounds of pianos are beautifull, warm, just the noise of pedals by factory settings is too loud, but no big deal, you can change it in settings and save the preset. And same with the metronome, by factory settings is crazy loud.

The built quality is great, there are no cheap plastics, but solid metal and wood. The bad thing is that make this piano togather with a hammer action very heavy, I cant cary the piano on a gig just by myself, You need an another person to help you.

Handling is not a strongest point of this piano, but still ok, for expample if you want to play audio file from your USB stick, You may think You put USB Stick inside and press the button USB and find your file, but not,You have to press Record and do some steps to load the song, I had to google it to find out, it isnt intuitive.

Summary it is a great good looking Stage piano, and if you have somebody to help you to carry it, or You use keyboard mainly in studio or home as myself, it is a great choice!!!
