On the way to the optimum cymbal sound for the Signature Series a special Paiste sound alloy from patented bronze was developed. The results are instruments that have gained increasing recognition since their introduction in 1989 and have since proven themselves in both studio and live performances. The sound has a high expressiveness and can be described as being delicate, transparent, musical, emotional as well as colourful.

This medium hi-hat from the Signature Line offers a well-rounded sound and is an excellent all-round hi-hat. Soft, dry qualities combine with a good chick sound. Well suited for the lower to middle volume ranges.

My Dream Hi Hats

These are the first set of professional cymbals I have owned...and they will be the last. I LOVE THESE CYMBALS!!!!!! Since I first used a friends set I knew they were the cymbals for me. They are perfect live and for recording. Everybody comments on how wonderful they sound. As much as they are expensive they are worth every penny! So long as Paiste continue to produce the Signature range I will use nothing else!

These are now my go-to hi hats, and I can't imagine me selling them on. Sharp 'chick' sound with a really classy, smooth sizzle when they're open. Suitable for a wide range of music - I could see these sitting happily in genres from jazz through funk and pop up to (but probably not including) hard rock.

Perfect Hi Hat Sound

This is what Hi Hats should sound like. Perfect all around sound that works well with any genre. After months of research and testing with over 20 different hats, the Paiste Signature mediums were the best fit for me. Bright, crisp, tight, and melodic that bring vivid emotions to your playing. Please be aware that they have a break in period that may take a few weeks. They feel stiff and off at first but after some time of breaking them they really do sound amazing. I shop at Thomann for the price compared to American shops, even with the high shipping cost, you still pay up to $100 less overall. Due to the risk of buying cymbals because of their unique qualities in sound, I would only blindly purchase Paiste because of their consistency and great quality control.

PAISTE LINE HIHAT

Habe mir dieses Paiste 14" HiHat aus der Line /Signature Serie zusammen mit anderen Becken und nem neuen Drumset gekauft. Der Preis ist absolut in Ordnung und die Qualität und der Sound sowie die Verarbeitung sind in gewohnter Paiste Qualität, wie man es bei Made in Switzerland auch nicht anders erwarten kann. Das Becken hat einen unglaublich guten Klang, egal ob man in Bands und Stilrichtungen wie funk-reggae-ska-punk-rock-metal-jazz oder einfach nur für sich selbst spielt!

Es lohnt sich auf jedenfall das Geld in ein gutes HiHat Becken wie dieses zu investieren. Allerdings würde ich auch jedem Empfehlen in Treppendort vorbeizuschauen auch wenn es ein weiter weg ist, bei mir bspw. ca. 300km, aber es lohnt sich immer in der Drum Abteilung vorbeizuschauen und auch die Becken Live anzuspielen, da jedes Becken seinen eigenen Klang besitzt.

Bei Paiste Line Produkten könnte man schon in Versuchung kommen einfach zu bestellen da diese einfach gut aufeinander abgestimmt sind.

Würde ich sofort wieder kaufen. :-)
