Sennheiser changed it!
The previous version was very different, with much smaller capsule, taking into consideration that it's usually used for the most discrete use...
Now the capsule is a little bit "fatter" and the "grill" seems not removable, what makes it even bigger than the previous version...
For the use I had in my company (lavalier for actors/actresses), it's unusable...
On the other hand, for ppl who use it for interviews, video applications, etc, it's perfectly ok!

Excellent
Use: Web casts (replacing web cam sound). It comes with a pop shield but we prefer the sound and look without it.
Clarity: Excellent.
The mic is a little bright, but with a fair amount of low end too. I always prefer bright mics because it's far easier to tame brightness with EQ than it is to add clarity to a dull mic.
There are plenty of YouTube videos about this mic. Most of those are positive and our experience is this mic gives excellent results and is is good value for money.
Cons: You will need to purchase a separate adapter to get it to work with XLR + phantom power

Great Microphone
Great pick up sound with crisp and clear vocals. Best entry level lavalier out there and better than some that are double the price. Would 100% recommend.

Very satisfied
I used it for many years and its awesome. I remind you that you get only one channel sound, dont be surprised when you see there is no audio on your right channel, its normal.
