TonePros T3BT-G Tune-o-matic

Pro:
- Direct replacement for Epiphone Les Paul and Sheraton II Pro bridge. Fits onto existing posts.
- Adjustment screws easier to handle.
- No more retaining wire to contend with.
- No need to reverse the saddle during setup as there is more adjustment length with this bridge.

Con:
- Preset radius which may not match that of the frets (it's the same with the Epiphone bridge). Saddles are not individually adjustable up/down.
- Saddle notches are very shallow, although I haven't had any difficulty with this...there was no slippage during bending. Thought about swapping the saddles out with the Epiphone bridge saddles but the thread size looks different.
- There were extra unneeded bits like the posts, locking screws and body inserts.

I couldn't hear any difference in the way the guitar sounded after installing the TonePros bridge but it is still early.

A huge improvement over the stock Ibanez bridge on an AS93FM-VLS. This is a very high quality item. Perfect colour match and finish. Holes are sized to fit a 6mm post so I didn't have to use the supplied posts.
When intonating the screws are very high quality. No burring , finish chipping, or deformation what so ever. Very positive movement of the saddles. No slop at all in the threading when adjusting.
The bridge is radiused to perfection. The action has improved also, due to the improved radius (12").
I installed a tusq nut and this bridge at the same time. The difference is a complete transformation. As far as bridges go, it doesn't get better.

Ich hatte kürzlich eine gebrauchte Epiphone Sheraton (aus 2010) gekauft, deren Vorbesitzer ein Vollidiot war und die schöne Gitarre leider ziemlich inkompetent bearbeitet hat, indem er tiefe Gräben für die oberen drei Saiten (EAD) gegraben hat, anstatt die Brücke zu adjustieren. Es musste also eine neue Brücke her, weil die alte irreparabel war.
Wie von anderen Bewertern bereits dargestellt: die Bridge passt nicht nur exakt in die vorhandenen Befestigungen, sie verändert tatsächlich den Sound und Feel der Sheraton sofort zum Besseren. War das Spielgefühl vorher eher deutlich zu weich und dumpf, haben wir jetzt - zumindest akustisch - einen klaren Klang und ein verbindliches Griffgefühl. Es macht jetzt wirklich Spaß die Sheraton zu spielen. Selbstverständlich lassen sich Oktavjustage usw. leicht einstellen.
Was die Bridge nicht löst ist die Tatsache, diese Sheraton zumindest Pickups mit einem grandios schlechten Sound hat, für mich als Jazzer. Leider nicht absolut nicht akzeptabel, so sehr ich Epiphone als Hersteller bewundere für sein Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Ich habe auch eine Emperor Joe Pass II, eine Ibanez Archtop und eine alte Gibson Les Paul Custom alle mit PAFs und alle mit unterschiedlicher Qualität - aber so mies wie dieser Sheraton Sound ist keiner.
So, mit der neuen Bridge ist die Investition in neue Pickups ein No-Brainer.
