Very good speakers for music production!
I was looking for speakers that i could use for mixing/mastering my music and came across the Yamaha HS series and decided to go with the HS 8 W one because they were the newest at the time and the specs looked solid and i wanted to try it out.
I've used these speakers for half a year now and i'm not disappointed.
These speakers offers great sound quality whether you just want to listen to music or create your own.
After mixing in headphones for a while it's even better to hear the music through these speakers.
Pros: Good and clear sound. (which is all you need),
they look good.
Cons: They don't come with the cables you need, only the powercable.
Note: The speakers are quite large and might not fit your normal desktop, consider getting smaller speakers or monitor stands.
Also turn down the volume if you're not using your computer, otherwise when the computer goes in sleepmode you will hear kaboom. :)

Absolutely best in class
Tried many different speakers in this price class,HS8 are absolutely the best speakers! Over this one i only can think to buy Genelec that cost 10 times more!

Riktigt prisvärd och bra monitor. Ärliga. Om låten har lite bas så låter det lite bas. Om låten har mycket bas, ja då spelar dem mycket bas. Det som går in kommer ut. Dvs, vad en bra referensmonitor ska göra. Användbara kontroller för att reglera bas/diskant på baksidan som gör att du kan anpassa dem efter lyssningsrummet och placeringen. Litet minus för finishen på de vita, som inte var perfekt på alla ställen i skarven mellan front och sidor.
