Long Lasting and favouritte in this gauge type
I love the ddarrio because of the sound but they get rusty and lose the sound quality and brightness after 2 weeks... I ve tried many strings in last 10 years..
I must admit in this string gauge the ernie ball is my favourite and became a standart for me in every gauge. Like if i dont know which strings to buy or for certain my guitars I always grab ernie. You can totally count on this companies strings.
Yes, they dont have that brightness and tone that I love from ddarrio BUT! They sound like a ddarrio after 3 days of play and keep that sound for long! One month at least you will have that nice tone! And the strings are very high quality!
I recommend this strings to anyone and any genre !

My number 1 pick for guitar strings
I have bought the ernie ball 009 strings from the recommendation from my teacher, and it is truly one of the best sets of 009 strings that you can find!
The tone and playability from the string is amazing. First of all, these strings are so versatile that it can be basically used for any genre of songs. I play metal, where both distorted rhythm and lead sounds phenomenal, however using these strings on other genres such as jazz and ballads are also very great. Second of all, the feeling of the string is very smooth and comfortable. The strings are very easy to bend while keeping a very good tone, and my fingers don't hurt as much as others would.
If I had to choose a string to put on my brand new guitar, this would be by far my first pick, from the reasons mentioned above.
11/10 strings

Cannot fault Ernie Balls
As a lone tech in my own workshop I will fit whatever strings my customer wants. But if they ask me, It's usually Ernie Balls I recommend. The range is extensive and the quality, at the price point is fantastic. I've yet to have an EB unwind at the ball end or snap at the tuner when installing theses strings. Once they're stretched in, they hold their tune for ages.

If you don't want to complicate yourself...
These are the perfect strings if you just want the standard set, they don't have any corrosion protection but the tone is very good and I simply can't complain for the price. This set in particular would fit any fender Strat or Tele, as they were designed for this string caliber (0.09).
I've had this argument with many of my friends about getting a bit darker with time, and it's obvious that after one month the sound will degrade a bit, but I prefer to change my strings 3 times for less than 20 euros, and always have new strings, than to buy a single package of Elixir for the same price, that although they will last longer, they can't compete with a regular change of strings. If you complain that these strings are not so slippery as the protected ones, try with some conditioning oil for frets like 'Fast Fret', I use it every time I leave my guitar back in the case, it protects my strings and feel as nice as any other brand.
Overall, I've been using them for years and I've tried other brands too, but I would say that for this price range they're unbeatable, I'd recommend them to any musician from entry level to professional.

Pleasantly surprised!
I usually use rather expensive flatwound strings, so I am far from an expert when it comes to roundwounds. However, even I could easily tell that these are excellent strings for the money.
My only gripe is that they needed some time to stretch out before they stayed in tune, but this may be normal with a set of thin-gauge roundwounds. I expected an improvement over the old and rusty set that came stock on my Harley Benton, but the difference was night and day! I could not believe how much better the guitar sounded with these strings.
Also, the tension feels pretty even, and they are a joy to bend on! Time will tell how well they hold up, but for now, I am more than happy with my purchase. Finally, one thing I especially like is that the packaging is hermetically sealed, so you do not have to worry about where and for how long you store them — they should never oxidize.

Ernie's awesome, dude.
Amazingly affordable strings that never leave me wanting. Have these on my Jazzmaster and it just sounds great. Would love to be like the Edge and swap for new strings every day or so, because that feeling when you put up a new set is so cool, and they do go a bit dull after a month of constant use, but nothing that makes you wander where your money went.
And, to be fair, the packaging always makes me feel like a kid opening a bag of sweets for the first time. Happy times all around for this one.

Works For Every Electric
In the past, I never really cared that much what strings went on my guitars. As long as they were 10-52 gauge, they were fine. Now, I stick with these 9-42's.
Some strings have been a little too bright, hard to keep in tune, wore out quickly or have even had five strings in the pack instead of six.
I put a fresh set of these on my Floyd Rose-equipped Charvel and...
1. They maintain their tuning with negligible adjustment required (even with some heavy bends and big trem pulls).
2. Good tone - the new string brightness tempers down quickly and they last a good while before they start to sound a dull enough to change out.
3. They don't corrode easily - unless you have really acidic sweat or dirty hands, they'll last well.
These are so cheap, there's no excuse not to order multiple packs to ensure you always have a fresh set available.
Recommended.

Classic for a reason
I used to look at the back of the super slinkys and wonder why everyone played them. Once you’ve played them you’ll know why. They’re light but sturdy, bright and focused and they just play well on any electric I’ve put them on. I play a Mexican vintage strat and standard us telecaster and these boys sounds amazing on them, no matter what style. They sound just as good playing indie, rock, reggae, blues, jazz, any style, they just sound focused, balanced and a really smooth tone. Recommend for any guitarist looking for sturdy, classic strings that won’t break the bank.

Old habbits die hard
I use these strings for a long time, now ( previously, I used EB regulars ) and I'm sticking with them.
They're durable, keep in tune nicelly, have a bright sound and ( that's a personal opinion, obviously ) the tone is great.
They also have a nice feel, so if you're thinking about changing strings, give them a try.
