Give a patch-cable a home
This is not a review about what a patch cable does.
These little fellas connect two pedals, take up very little space and deliver a clean signal.
Big deal.
This review is about the patch cable that slipped out of the box during delivery, that got lost somewhere in transit and is now lonely and lost in a delivery van. That little patch cable might never find a home. It might never find its connection. I can just see it scared and bemused, isolated in a dark crevice of an unforgiving leviathan that trundles from town to town, never ceasing it's journey.
(BTW Thomann sent a replacement at their own cost.)

Excellent cable, best option for compact pedalboards
I strongly prioritize space efficiency on my pedalboard. I have 12 pedals on a 38*30 cm pedalboard meant for street performing. That was not possible before this type of cable showed up, and I scratched the finish of many pedals with the metal pancake plugs before I finally tried these.
The plugs are very compact and enable you to put pedals right next to each other. The cables themselves are also compact and flexible, a less obvious advantage, but you can comfortably run the cable along the edge of the pedals thanks to that, and it won't be in the way of pedal placement or other cables.
They are quality cables and will not suck your tone. The only time I broke one was when I managed to press down on it with the sharp edge of the power supply on a poorly set-up board. They have held up in normal use very well.
I prefer the Harley Benton brand over Rockboard because this cable does not needlessly protrude beyond the plug, which is a real problem when trying to use multiple plugs next to each other or trying to fit them through a tight hole. Being a smidgen cheaper also helps when you need to buy 11 of these.
I believe this is the best compact patch cable to buy. An alternative is the "Pro" version of this that comes with a shielded cable to prevent electrical infetterence, like the more expensive EBS Gold flat patch cable. However, I'll go out on a limb and say that there is nothing about this cable that isn't "pro".

Nice space saver
Very slim patch cable, helps save space in my pedalboard because I can put the pedals closer together. The wire is pretty thin so I don't know how long it will last, but since it stays secure in the same place I'm guessing it will last a long time.

It does the job!
I just needed one of these to connect more pedals one to another and this patch cable is perfect! Quality is ok and price is awesome. Of course, it’s not that solid as you might expect it to be but still for this price is literally fine! Just remember that the cable is very short, I suggest to use it in a pedalboard to connect different pedals but you must keep them close because the cable won’t let you use much space. Recommended.

Space saver with good sturdiness
I bought these for a home pedalboard and they allowed me to save quite a bit of space, enough to get another pedal in the same row. They're not built for gigging or if you want to fiddle with them excessively, but they're more than fine if you have a fairly fixed pedalboard, or carry it with a protection bag.

Good
I had more than ten of these for my pedalboards, and they do the job well. I had to replace one or two during a year, not mich considering the price.
The fit very well thanks to the flat cable

Pedalboard Must have
These help save space, and make for a neat pedalboard. My advice is to make sure the cable bulge is pointing down, to avoid stepping on these cables. So far so good!

Broke after little use
I didn't moved the cable too much, used it for what is intended in a fix place between pedals. Two of them broke (internally) around the same time, so if it would be one I would think I didn't used it properly, but 2 of them I would say is because quality is low and they don't last long.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do
I only have 3 pedals and one noise gate these patch cables do exactly what they are supposed to do and are very affordable

Can't beat this...
I was very skeptical about Harley Benton but, after buying some of their products I can't unsee the quality. This is a very pedalboard friendly cable and I will eventually change all of my cables with this because it saves A LOT of space on the board.
