I have no idea what these sound like on a snare drum but, at the price, they are ideal for my cajon, just cut them in half.

Very good
For the purpose i use them they are excellent! Make cajons and build them in, they sound very good! Price and quality for my purpose are perfect! There is nothing cheaper at that price range, as i said they are good for cajon usage!

handy to have
I bought these to have as a spare and I used it and i got a cracking sound out of it , handy to have as a spare in the bag, i have used it long term now and going to use one on a piccolo snare and see how that sounds....

Not bad.
Well made and a great price. But not as sensitive as I'd really expect. OK for hard hitting but doent really like the finer side. Really struggled to get them to seat properly, but for the price it's fine for practice or blasting way on.

Perfect for the price
Bought this to replace the damaged snare on my young son's kit. Installation was straightforward enough and it sounds perfectly fine for what it is.
