Be careful, doesn't work with all cabs
I tried this between a MarkBass head and cab, and it wouldn't work. I actually ended up sending the cab's crossover away for repair as I thought it had blown - but it turned out the wiring on this cabling isn't suitable for all cabs. Tried another speakon cable with a different wiring convention and it worked perfectly. That other cable works with all of my cabs and PA where as this one was suitable only for a few.

Tough cable!
I bought 2 of these over 10 years ago from Thomann and they are still going strong after hundreds of gigs. Robust and have never given any trouble.

For the price, it does a great job.
It is what it says it is. It does what it says it does. Simply put: For the price, it does a great job.

Sweet old grey.
The colour of the cables is probably the least important, but I love this "classic" colour as most sound cables were this colour back in the 50's and before.
apart from this, the cables work perfectly on all my gear, the wire is super flexible, the "twist ins" are very easy to twist in and easy to twist out.
Happy with my new cables :-)

Essential!
What a great value high quality cable! So good for every day use as well as being cheap enough to have multiples as spares in case you need one. I'm very impressed as I have some cables that were much more expensive & have no discernible jump in quality from this one!

Does what it says on the tin
Nothing to complain about at this price point, but the hardened plastic gives the impresion that it might be a little brittle. The housings are quite difficut to undo, which is a plus in that they will not accidentally come undone, but if one has to repair them... not that easy. I did have one of the screw terminals get loose, but once I got the casing off it was easy enough to get back in place.

Not bad
In terms of sound, everything works fine (for about half a year now). No crackling or sound outages some other buyers mentioned. On the other hand, one of the connector clips got stuck and is now extremeley hard to pull. Therefore I break my nail everytime I try to unplug a speaker. Sucks but it doesn't really affect the sounds, does it?

great for small jobs!
these speakers work great when connecting power amps to speakers and you don't need a tonne of coiled up speaker on the floor! there ruggedly built and i have had no problems with any loss of sound or quality when using them! also their size means they are stored very easily and knotting isn't a problem! if you have a small space for connection then these are perfect!
