Very nice and musical cymbal overall
Tartz 24.10.2018
I use this cymbal with a rock and metal setting, it is exactly bright and dark enough to be heard and be musical as well. I have used it less than a year but damn the cymbal is very sturdy.

Pros
Very musical
Very good looking
Not too loud
Build quality is exceptional

Cons
Not sure if it lasts for years with regular or heavier playing

I would say you can use this cymbal for every style. You can spend a lot less for a cymbal but I do not recommend.
I also bought Zultan AJA crash 18 inch, not happy with that.

J
Outstanding cymbal, regardless of the price
JonnyS 28.03.2017
I didn't want to start this article with "great cymbal for the price", simply because this cymbal competes with my other cymbals sitting at a much higher price bracket. I use this as my main crash cymbal, with my Sabian AAX Explosion for accented hits. I've played with it live, and recorded it and in both situations it is outstanding. It's got a lot of weight to it, and the sound is quite dark, and I think Thomann captured the sound very well in their audio samples. I'll certainly be using this cymbal as my main crash cymbal for the foreseeable future, and have no problem recommending Zultan to my friends

I can't name any cons, I think it's got great durability (not even a dent in the last 3 months), fantastic sound, looks great, and is priced very competitively.

Heavy dark crash cymbal
Vicarious 27.04.2019
I use this crash as a secondary right hand side crash, and as a riding crash.
It feels pretty heavy, and it produces dark sound. So it is pretty good for riding.
Combined with my Zildjian A Customs, it does a good job, providing a bit darker sound, while having the same loudness.

One of the best in this Class
Gubeee 04.06.2020
I love it.
High musicality, and warm, but not too loud sound. Its simply full of deep, and high, and middle together.... Its Qa is very good, just because i play hard metal, and light music too so in each style, you can use it.

O
Great!
O_chen 27.08.2018
I'm absolutely in love with this cymbal.
Adds that firm dry sound without being too much.
Sounds good in any genre.
The duration is still an uncertainty since I bought it only a year ago but so far so good!
Doesn't seem to be cracking any time soon.

One of my best purchases!

Beautiful cymbal... Sound, not bad...
StevenL 21.12.2011
Took a chance on this cymbal not knowing what I would get... No question the cymbal is gorgeous and beautifully lathed and hammered... It might be a little heavy for my taste and some of the overtones are a bit much... However, for the price it is well worth it... I think for me, the jury is still out but I believe it will hold a place in my arsenal of voices... Great Value and I'm warming up to it.

Brilliant all rounder
Anonymous 09.08.2016
Great cymbal, with a good medium weight so can take a good hit. Has a great sound with good sustain and is great whether you catch it on the bronze or the un-lathed parts.looks amazing on stage. the zultan range really has impressed me alot. buy this for a cymbal that is a good all rounder in many rock/pop settings.

Zultan cymbals
Anonymous 21.11.2016
This is simply a very good crash cymbal, indeed the Zultan series cymbals in general is very good! And cheap! Should there be a sabian or zildjian logo printer on it it would probably cost in the range of 250-300¤

Thomanns audio clip is accurate in character. It opens up fairly easily but it does need a good hit in order to do so, I wouldn't call it thin.

Brilliant Value

This is a great product for the money. I've since broken the Cymbal but I play extremely hard and this isn't a great reflection of the cymbals resilience. It has a great sound and looks as amazing as it does in the pictures. Used it on Metal / Folk / Pop Albums and it really has a great sound.
