Good budget replacements

Cheap tuners are part of the reason some basses are lower price. You cannot spend £300 and expect USA quality. Usually I would buy a set of Schaller tuners as they are my favourites but they are about £70-£80 delivered.

I recently picked up a cheap Squier and thought I would try the Kluson tuners to keep the cost down. They are quite good and keep the vintage look I was looking for. I still prefer my Schaller`s but for a budget bass, these do the trick fine.

Passen perfekt auf fenderstyle Bässe

Mein Fender MiM Neck hat echt merkwürdige Lochbohrungen und da ich keine zusätzlichen Löcher bohren wollte, bin ich schließlich bei den Kluson gelandet. Diese passen als eine der wenigen perfekt und haben den klassischen Fender Look.

Pour le prix, rien à redire. Les trous tombent en face sur mon manche Fender Mexico, les vis fournies n'ont pas cassées (et c'est déjà bien, croyez-moi, j'en ai essayé des vis foireuses...).

Elles n'ont pas toutes la même résistance au doigt, mais encore une fois à 11€ l'unité, on ne peut pas se plaindre.

En terme d'accordage, la stabilité est plutôt moyenne, pas mauvaise mais pas franchement exceptionnelle et je doute de leur stabilité sur des lives extérieurs par exemple.

Je recommande pour ceux qui ne veulent pas casser leur tirelire dans des mécaniques.

Pour ceux qui veulent une grande stabilité et un meilleur ratio, passez votre chemin et montez en gamme.
