Probably the greatest analog amp in it's class

Not too much to say - this amp is great. ISF function gives you the freedom to go from american sound to british sound. I have upgraded mine with Jensen c12n speaker, and it's a whole new sound now. Clean channel is great, takes pedals very well. Drive channel is okish, but I am not using it.

Great small amp??

Yes a great amp from Blackstar good sounds on it's own but will excel with a few FX pedals.
If your fed up lugging heavy amps about as I am this could be for you. It has great tones and is well up to smaller gigs and of course can be miced up if needed. I believe this amp is designed as a first amp for beginner/intermediate players etc however it is in my opinion suitable for all especially if like me you are on a budget. I can't comment on reliability yet but hopefully that should be good. It appears to be well made and both colours look great I may have to have both!! Well done Blackstar its just what I was looking for.

Hatte gedacht, einen billigen 12er mit Einschleifweg für`s Pedalboard zum schnellen Mitnehmen zu bekommen. Leider klingt er nicht, ist eher schrill und etwas unangenehm im Sound (eben Transistor). Das liegt auch daran, dass die Mitten, das Wichtigste am Gitarrensound, entgegen den Versprechungen der Vermarktung, gar nicht regelbar sind: Der Mittenregler ist bloß ein High-Cut des Bass-Reglers. Sind Bass-Poti und Treble-Poti ganz zu, ist der Mittenregler komplett tot. Thomann weiß Bescheid, schreibt das aber nicht. Auch der ISF Klangcharakterist-Regler macht da nicht mehr viel. Ich rate von diesem Amp ab.
