Great for gigs

This tuner by D'Addario is very compact and lightweight. I like how it folds and turns into every possible angle. I own many (!) products by D'Addario and have never been disappointed by that brand. They just seem to make very good products.

As for the accuracy of the tuner I would say that it's very good. Then again, I use every tuner mainly to align my ukuleles with other instruments from the band. I believe, most instruments (guitars, ukuleles, etc.), no matter how poorly or well they are built, need to be tuned by ear in the end for best results. No tuner can replace the trained ear that knows the specific instrument and knows exactly which notes, overtones and harmonies need to align for the perfect tuning.

Finally usb rechargeable

Why’d it take so long.. every other gadget has been usb rechargeable for years now, so finally D’addario have take the leap, and we’ll done… no anxiety about battery replacement, a super colourful screen, quickly recharges,, very responsive in the headstock auto shutdown when not in use… fantastic.. it’s quite small though, but it’s a great breakthrough!

The worst tuner from D'addario so far

I will keep this short. The tuner looks sturdy, I like the compact size and overall functionality. But... The clamp barely fits my classical guitars headstock. The display I find confusing at best. And my final point: It is inaccurate. It takes it ages to be able to pick up the bass strings being plucked and when it finally does the tuning is all over the place. I can't recommend it.

Ein Clip Tuner mit Akku ist etwas, worauf ich schon länger gehofft hatte. Da ich häufig Stimmgeräte benutze, musste ich auch häufig Batterien wechseln und nachkaufen. Nun erkenne ich am Akkusymbol im Display (es leuchtet grün, gelb oder rot) wie voll der Akku ist und kann ihn rechtzeitig laden.
Die „Klemme“ der Halterung ist griffig, lässt sich ohne große Kraftanstrengung öffnen und leicht an der Kopfplatte anbringen, wo sie gerade aufliegt und die Schwingungen gut aufnehmen kann. Das Display kann gedreht werden, wodurch es sich noch besser ablesen lässt. Die LEDs leuchten grün, gelb, rot in einem ansprechenden warmen Farbton und beim Stimmen reagiert die Anzeige direkt, ruhig und für meine Verhältnisse sehr genau. Das Gerät würde sich nach 10 min automatisch ausschalten, aber um die von Daddario angegebenen 24 Stunden „Stimmzeit“ pro Ladung besser zu nutzen, übernehme ich das lieber gleich nach dem Stimmen.
Es gibt auch eine Kalibrierfunktion, aber da ich sie nicht benötige, kann ich dazu nicht viel sagen.

Dies ist ein kompakter stabiler Cliptuner, mit ansprechendem Display, mit dem sich hervorragend stimmen lässt und bei dem keine Batterien mehr nötig sind.
