Amazing Sound

Very powerful synth with amazing sound. Even the audio samples Youtube videos don't do it justice due to compression. It's simply amazing. The major downside is the weak effects section for a synth in this price class. The quality of the effects is decent but not great. The distortion in particular is mediocre. The rev-2 could use an analog distortion like the OB-6. In addition it could use a second effects slot per layer.

I recommend the 16 note version because many patches run in "stacked" mode effectively combining two patches as one which gives you an effective polyphony of only 8 notes. Either way, if you have room in your budget this is a great synth.

It's a great polysynth. It does everything it is supposed to do and more!

The only downside is the filter section. I really want bandpass and hipass, but then again, it would have been alot more expensive.
