Works like a charm

Connected my old Yamaha PSR through an USB hub into my Windows laptop. The MIDI device appeared instantly in Cakewalk. It works very well.

Received the product and connected it to my old Wersi piano. I started up my Apollo x4, uploaded the UAD Ravel piano and there was sound. No problems, no installation or drivers, it worked instantly. Thank you Thomann Team for the amazing customer service by giving me advice which midi cable was best for my situation. The cable feels very strong so i guess it will last a long time. Thanks so much --- Josh

On my macOS, it just worked, no problems. The cable is high quality, too.

The only negative feedback I have is that the two MIDI ports are labeled "1" and "2", but in a very tiny font that is hard to see. When you're using both ports on the computer, sometimes you have to select "1" or "2" in your software, and finding the tiny number physically on the cable is a little difficult. But this is just an aesthetic complaint. Operationally it works perfectly.

Easy to use solution

Provides a stable midi connection, works out of the box with windows or mac. For some reason it shows up as two different devices, but it wasn't hard to figure out that one is for input, and the other is for out. Keep that in mind. Also, the two plugs are almost indentical, it's a bit hard to differentiate between the in and out, but you can mark it with something.
