It's not my first Rycote windjammer. I worked with quite a few different models. This one is not an exceptions. Hi quality plastics (apparently the same plastic Land Rover makes their handle with), very durable and flexible. The screw on locks are solid and do not unlock on their own. Suspension works wonderfully (like on other recite products). A handle feels nice, it's rubberized to get rid of handling noise. Once you get a firmly grip on it there won't be any handling noises coming through. The thin XLR-XLR cable that you feed through the blimp seems a tiny little wee bit too long, however it can be fed through the tiny grooves to reduce it's length. Wind protection (Fur/dead cat) is top notch. It needs a little bit of effort to slide it on which is understandable - it needs to be tightly wrapped around the blimp. 5/5 - next one: Rycote Cyclone :D

gewohnt gute Rycote Qualität! Einzig der etwas klobig wirkende Mittelring, andem beide Korbhälften befestigt werden, sieht schwer aus, hätte aber beim angeln selber nichts gemerkt
