Ich bin sehr begeistert von den SKB Cases und besitze mittlerweile einen kompletten Satz. Vorteilhaft ist die komplette Schaumstoffauspolsterung die bei anderen Herstellen, wie Hardcase, nicht gegeben ist. Zudem liegt der Druck nicht auf dem Kessel sondern auf dem Case, wenn man alle übereinanderstapelt. Der Griff ist bequem zu tragen und dank des Gurtes ist auch alles schnell verpackt.

Einen Punkt Abzug in Verarbeitung gebe ich, weil der Kleber vom Schaumstoffpolster am oberen Rand nicht richtig hält, ich hoffe mal dass der Schaumstoff nicht weiter abgeht.

PS: in das SKB 14"x5.5" Snare-Case passt auch meine Tama 6,5" tiefe Snare ohne dass der Deckel richtig auf der Snare aufliegt. Also zumindest bei einer 6" tiefen Snare auf jeden Fall zum kleineren Case greifen!

There are a few things one could wish, though. For example, my drum is silver metallic. The inside covering of the case is, however, black. From time to time I need to therefore wipe off the little black hair to make my drum look nice and shiny again. Secondly, if you end up on a big audition and everyone else has exactly the same case it would be nice to distinguish your case from the others' - it should have a place for a name tag somewhere. Also, if you need to carry it for a long distance then the handle might cause fatigue on your hands. But these are really the only very minor issues I could come up with. Overall the case is excellent!
