no looking for bad contacts along the cable, no wondering if that static/ crackling is coming from one of the extension connections.

sound quality ? i dont think any one could tell between very expensive cable, and this. really.
i dont know what it would be like on the road with alot of abuse. but for custom runs in the studio its perfect. and for that its as good as it gets for twice the price.

The rubber is very nice but will not survive being pinched buy a door. There are more sturdy cables available, for pro use I would recommend a more expensive cable.
