Cordoba Stage Guitar Natural Amber w/B

The Cordoba stage guitar is perfectly made along with its case.

The volume needs to be at maximum to work. The blend knob does not work as a blend but as a volume for the internal microphone. There is no control for the piezzo and no sound from it.

The EQ does not work. Any way it is not an EQ. My Prudencia Saez Stage has a 4-band EQ. THAT is an EQ.

Out of the case , the guitar has huge distortion problems with the whole thing alive not just the sound box but right up the neck too. Disaster. You have to remove the electronics cover and turn the blue gain to the far left to control the sound.

Measurements are 1st string 650mm 6th string 652mm - saddle slot is angled. String spacings at nut 38.5mm (not 39mm). At saddle 58mm (not 59.1mm). At 12th fret 48.5mm.

I sanded the back of the neck to remove the sticky gloss and now have a silky matt finish which is lovely. Finished it with lemon oil and the grain jumps right out.
I sanded 1.5mm from the saddle to bring the strings to a playable height.
I replaced the strings with ProArte lights with overall tension of 79.81.
The radius on the neck is gentle and fine for Classical fingerstyle.

After many hours of tests through my BSK60 with 10" speaker also from Thomann, I now have a setting I can believe in. I have compared playability to my Godin Concert multi AC SA, my Camps Hernandez 900 Cut with midi and to my Prudencia Saez Stage model.

I wish Cordoba had developed far better electronics like these 3 guitars which are perfect. One other thing Cordoba could do is release a higher-end model with an ebony fretboard please. One where you have an actual guitarist explain what an equaliser a blend and a volume knob do.
One who can also measure accurately.

Nevertheless I will be playing this guitar in a summer gig to an audience of 70 on 2nd June.

Just bought the Mooer Prime 1.3.1. This is the perfect EQ that the Cordoba Stage lacks. Buy this with the Guitar you will not be disappointed.

Muy buen sonido enchufada. Preciosa estéticamente. Sin enchufar suena poco, pero parece lógico dada la caja; suficiente para tocar en casa o ensayar.
Muy cómoda para tocar y mástil adecuado para los que venimos de eléctrica/ acústica (aún me parece mucha la separación de cuerdas).
Por otro lado, éstas no parecen muy buenas y podrían montar entorchado liso, pero eso va a gustos. La mayor pega es que no ha venido ajustada y la selleta del puente está demasiado alta, por lo que voy a tener que gastar dinero extra en lutier.
Por otro lado, consume las pilas de una forma bárbara. Hay que quitarla cuando no la uses porque dura una o dos semanas.

Ich wollte mir zuerst die Ibanez TOD10n von Tim Henson holen. Nach einigen Videos mit Soundbeispielen habe ich mich jedoch für die Córdoba Stage entschieden und bereue meine Entscheidung keine Sekunde lang.

Die Gitarre ist hervorragend verarbeitet und sieht sehr hochwertig aus. Die Maserung des Holzes der Decke ist individuell je nach Gitarre etwas unterschiedlich.

Die Werkssaiten habe ich gewechselt da sie eine hohe Spannung hatten und etwas gequietscht haben. Mit Daddario pro arte Saiten ist alles super! Die Aktion war bei meiner Gitarre von Werk aus bei etwa 3mm, was normal für eine Konzertgitarre ist, das Trussrod war nicht ganz optimal eingestellt, das hat ein Experte im Musikladen innerhalb von 3 Minuten geändert und dadurch auch die Aktion leicht gesenkt.

Ich habe öfters gelesen, dass das finish am Hals bemängelt wird. Tatsächlich ist dies etwas griffig, man bleibt anfangs ein wenig am Hals hängen wenn man über das Griffbrett rutscht, ich habe allerdings das Gefühl, dass das mit der Zeit deutlich nachgelassen hat.

Der sound unplugged kommt natürlich nicht ansatzweise an eine richtige Konzertgitarre mir großem Korpus ran, sie klingt für den flachen Korpus und die 3 kleinen Soundlöcher jedoch immernoch gut, so dass man sie auch angenehm ohne Verstärker spielen kann.
Plugged in klingt sie genial. Allerdings ist der Bass recht stark, was sich durch präzise Einstellungen am Verstärker oder Plugin mildern lässt. Ich nutze vorwiegend Plugins von Neural DSP, dort macht es Sinn etwas rumzuprobieren welche Plugins Akustik Sounds liefern, die dem eigenen Geschmack zusagen. Mir gefallen mit der Stage die Plugins von Mateus Asato, Plini und Tim Henson besonders gut.
- Für gute Sound Beispiele unbedingt mal Charlie Robbins bei YouTube ansehen, der Junge hat ein paar Videos mit der Stage und nutzt ebenfalls neural dsp plugins.

Der Body Blend Knopf ist sehr cool und eröffnet noch mehr Soundmöglichkeiten.
Der eingebaute EQ Knopf allerdings gefällt mir weniger, ich habe ihn immer aus, da sie leicht anfängt zu rauschen umso mehr man ihn aufdreht. Ein EQ im Plugin löst das Problem.

Im Großen und Ganzen eine wunderschöne Gitarre mit toller Verarbeitung und Mega Sound.
Sie ist den Preis absolut Wert, auch wenn nicht alles perfekt ist.
Ich bin sehr zufrieden!
