ottimo per death metal vecchia scuola

Comprai questo pick up per dare un sound più metal alla mia Ibanez Gio e soprattutto per riprendere un po' il sound di Chuck Schuldiner. Posso ritenermi davvero soddisfatto! Il montaggio è stato molto semplificato grazie alle guide presenti sul web. Ha stravolto totalmente la chitarra che prima era uno strumento per principianti adesso una vera macchina da Death Metal \m/
La prima cosa che colpisce è sicuramente l'output.

PRO
-output elevatissimo
-suono molto preciso,non si impasta neanche con distorsioni crunch
- perfetto per fare la parte di Chuck in una cover band dei Death
-look molto aggressivo
-può essere montato da chiunque abbia un minimo di manualità

CONTRO(se così vogliamo chiamarli)
-sul pulito è molto freddo
-non è il massimo della versatilità

in conclusione è un bel pick up ed è un po' triste il fatto che non sia molto famoso perchè merita davvero tanto.
Consigliatissimo a chi vuole suonare il metal bello tosto.

X2N Humbucker

If you're thinking about buying this pickup then you probably already know a little about it.
It is hands down the most transparent humbucker i have ever used, the entire frequency range comes through your amplifier, sparkling highs and booming lows.
I highly recommend this for anyone with a mahogany body guitar as it seems they perfectly compliment each other .
It is very loud and will make all your other pickups sound tiny and i have mine split and it sounds amazing so this is a great way to temper its extremes.

I fitted mine into my Ibanez RG and have played it though both modern and vintage tube amps and i have to hand it Dimarzio this pickup sings no matter what you plug it into.

I use it mainly for classic rock with the volume rolled down to 7, then crank to 10 for solos.

Buy one, you will not regret it.

Great passive pickups for metal

I was looking for a high output passive humbucker on one of my cheaper ibanez guitar (s520) and oh boy it brought that guitar to life. Very sharp and aggressive tone and being a Death fan it helps get close to Chuck's tone. Also a very clear pickup, didn't not expect it to be as clear as it is, I can hear the notes in chords even with lots of gain, dialing the amp a bit makes it also possible to achieve good clean tones.

The rail design looks sick and manufacturing quality is also great.
10/10 would buy an X2N again if I had to.
