a must have for tube amps

I have been a musician for 33 years on 3 instruments.
This pedal is extremely useful for shaping the tone at the input through the EQ. And you even get an overdrive/booster that you can use to get ultra gain, and the pedals work in any combination.

Incredible what you can have for this price. Solid construction, this is a quality pedal that should last many years. Other companies would make you pay 2 or 3 times as much, no exaggeration.

Einzigartige Kombination aus EQ und Overdrive und viele Soundmöglichkeiten

Muss gestehen, zwar schon lange zufriedener Thomann-Kunde zu sein, aber eher selten Bewertungen abzugeben bzw. Produktkommentare zu schreiben, nun mach' ich's mal :-)

Für die Position als Post-Overdrive/-booster für Soli hatte ich einen passenden Zerrer gesucht, der günstig (die teureren sind am Anfang der Treter-Kette) sein sollte, aber seinen Job dennoch gut machen sollte, klar.

Hatte hierzu insgesamt fünf Geräte bestellt, außer dem Harley Benton Sidecar noch drei Harley Benton MiniStomp, nämlich The Heat, Green Tint, Dr. D, sowie das Tone City Bad Horse.

Dass ich das Tone City Bad Horse behalten werde, habe ich nahezu sofort gewusst, da es beim Antesten bei mir gleich einen Wow-Effekt bewirkt hat, also aus meiner Sicht ganz klare Kaufempfehlung.

Von den restlichen vier Geräten blieb noch das Harley Benton Sidecar bei mir, das mich klanglich überzeugte (wenn auch kein Wow-Effekt wie beim Tone City Bad Horse) und auch wegen seiner einzigartigen Kombination aus EQ und Overdrive und der daraus resultierenden Soundmöglichkeiten.

Die drei Harley Benton MiniStomp, nämlich The Heat, Green Tint, Dr. D konnten mich gar nicht überzeugen, vielleicht merkt man da doch den geringen Preis. Bezogen auf diesen sind sie akzeptabel, aber mehr auch nicht. Auf jeden Fall fünf Sterne für das Tone City Bad Horse sowie das Harley Benton Sidecar :-)
