I bought this for someone who needs to compensate for hearing loss in one ear. The balance control combined with the adjustable (boostable) volume works perfectly in this regard. Being an active amplifier means even if the signal source is relative quiet -for example the headphone jack on a laptop, you can raise that volume and then balance it to taste. Usually, panning a signal to one side reduces the overall volume available, so this is a great help.

Vielleicht habe ich das Gerät ein wenig zweckentfremdet, aber es erfüllt trotzdem voll meine Erwartungen. Der Ausgangspegel meiner BlackBox-Y von Deebach war mir zu gering. Daher entschied ich mich für dieses "kleine Teil" und was soll ich sagen, es macht ohne viel "Schnick-Schnack" was es soll. Das Gehäuse macht einen soliden Eindruck. Den Lautstärkeregler habe ich zu 90% aufgedreht. Einen fehlenden Ein/Aus-Schalter habe ich nicht wirklich vermisst, da ich ohnehin die komplette Anlage zentral und ferngesteuert mit Strom versorge. Bis hin zum Preis bin ich mehr als zufrieden.

Ich wusste, dass ich ein nicht sehr teures Stageline-Produkt kaufe, daher hielt sich meine Erwartung in Grenzen. Ich weiß nicht ob ich ein Montagsgerät erwischt habe, da mein Verstärker ein ziemlich lästiges Masseproblem hat. Ohne brummen und surren ist eigentlich nur möglich, wenn ich das Ding in der Hand nah am Körper halte. Sämtliche elektrische Geräte in Armlängenreichweite (entkoppelt) werden ebenfalls im Signalweg abgebildet. Fazit:
- verstärkt das Signal
- Bauweise recht robust
- Audioqualität (bei mir) nicht zu gebrauchen
Die Umtauschgeschichte spare ich mir aus Faulheit und lagere das Ding als Ersatzteilspender ein.
