As I've said in previous reviews, when it come to booms, stands and holders, I can't think of any other brand with such quality as K&M: sturdy, precise, reliable. 5 stars!

Quality useful holder to keep things tidy

I bought this to help tidy up my little recording zone and it does the job just fine. I use a Boss EQ pedal on most of my guitars but I wanted to lift it up off the floor slightly to make it easier to adjust quickly. I attached this tablet holder to my microphone stand and the EQ pedal sits at a convenient height now. It's off the floor which helps keep things a bit tidier.

I cannot find fault with K&M products. They are thoughtfully designed and their quality is reliably high. They tend to cost a little more than other brands, but you know you're getting something of quality.

Very good but..

The tablet holder is amazing. The bracket that attaches the whole contraption to the stand, is quite small and if you attach it at an angle, is slips and the holder swings around due to gravity. You have to attach is exactly vertical. The previous version had a much bigger stand holder and would attach more firmly.

Qualität wie immer topp - Funktion geht besser

Wird haben für unsere I-Pads 6 und 7 den K&M Ständer 19798 und sind topp zufrieden damit. Der hat eine Klemmtiefe von angeblich 5-11mm, was bei unseren neuen Tablethüllen nicht ganz ausreicht. Daher habe ich mal diesen bestellt, der angeblich bis 20mm abkann. Weil angeboten, natürlich sehr über die biobased-Variante gefreut und aus praktischen Gründen die Version mit Klemmhalter genommen. Die Lieferung kam wieder superschnell und sehr übertrieben sicher verpackt: d.h. in den Umkarton hätte fast noch ein Verstärker mit reingepasst...

Die Verpackung in Aufmachung und Präsentation K&M-typisch hervorragend, das Teil selbst hat eine sehr gute Qualität. K&M bietet halt gute Qualität, der Preis wird darüber meist schon iwi gerechtfertigt.

Der biobasierte Kunststoffanteil hat im direktvergleich ggü. den ölbasierten Kunststoff des anderen Halters keinerlei erkennbare Nachteile. Im Langzeitvergleich wird sich da vielleicht was zeigen? Keine Ahnung. Ich würde derzeit stehts die Biovariante bevorzugen.

Das Teil geht trotzdem zurück. Warum? Die Klemmtiefe ist utopisch beschrieben. Und es fehlen ggü. dem anderen Halter einige Einstellmöglichkeiten, z.B. ist die 90-Grad-Schwenkung hier nicht möglich, man muss das Tablet selbst drehen und mit neuer Einstellung festspannen. Für unwesentlich weniger Geld sind das zu viel fehlende Features.
Da ich hier keinen Tablethalter finden kann, der die erforderliche Klemmtiefe beschreibt, muss ich diesmal doch mal woanders suchen...
