Kyro Dulo Pedalboard Amp

Mi occorreva un pedal amp clean, caldo, sempli e che mangiasse bene i pedali.
In questo pedale ho trovato tutto questo. Bellissmo clean caldo e poi facilissimo da utilizzare, non ha IR installate e non esiste nessun sofware per smanettare e peredere tempo. Attacchi il pedale segoli i volumi e ti godi il suono.
Unica nota dolente è la mancanza del jack cuffie.

The Kyro is very well built, the knobs are smooth, the switches crisp, and overall build quality very good with a real solid feel to the whole pedal. I particularly like the detailed yet restrained graphics, free from lurid lifestyle references (I play in a worship band).
In use, connecting it up reveals well chosen quality sockets, and a psu with plenty of cable reach, and the on/off foot switch is very positive, with no speaker 'clunk' as the pedal is turned on/off - so you can easily isolate the guitar without upsetting the sound guy!.
Putting it thru a Celestion Blue cabinet, the Kyro gives plenty of volume (!) without breakup, but notwithstanding the three EQ knobs (low, mid, hi) plus a 'brilliance' and a separate 'presence' knob, the sound is always smooth yet dull. There is a separate cab-sim switch but its so subtle as to be pointless.
So in use, I've had to use an EQ pedal to get the sound I like. (For comparison, for many years I've used a Tech21 which I had hoped the Kyro would have equalled).
Having said all that, the relief of not taking a combo every time I play outweighs the Kyro's sound once I added the EQ.
If Kyro's makers read this review I'd say make it 'brighter', and make the presence and/or brightness controls more effective. But would I buy one again, yes I think so.

Ich wollte für mein Pedalboard eine kleine Endstufe mit dem Klang eines Vox AC 15.
Dabei hatte ich als Soundvergleich eben dieses Topteil und als Alternative einen DV MARK 50 II. Eine digitale Endstufe wollte ich nicht. Alle meine Pedale sind Analog und dabei sollte es bleiben.
Als kleiner Exot und dazu Made in Europa. Bulgarien als Hersteller von Gitarrenzubehör ist er neu für mich , mit einer Ausstattung die neugierig gemacht hat.
Ich sollte nicht enttäuscht werden.
Das Gehäuse ist aus Stahlblech, sauber lackiert. Alle Potis Schalter und Buchsen sind stabil. Die Anordnung dieser sind auf den Bildern gut zu erkennen. An der rechten Seite bei der Inputbchse ist ein kleines Gainpoti. Beim Verstellen, der Sound bleibt immer clean er wird nach meinem Befinden weicher bzw. bei Vollauschlag härter. Kann es nicht anders beschreiben. In der Mittelstellung hatte ich den Sound den ich wollte.Der Equaliser kann abgeschaltet werden, so das nur noch die reine Endstufe per Volumen regeln lässt. Ideal für Preamps auf dem Pedalboard.
Als Lautsprecher habe ich eine 1968er 212 Vox Conquerer Box mit Silver Bulldog. Das bringt den Sound den mag und wollte.
Der Anschluss an mein Interface über die dafür vorgesehene Buchse nebst Boxensimulation, arbeitet bestens.
Was mir an dem Teil fehlt, ist ein Reverb.
Alle vorgeschalteten Pedal kommen aber mit dem Amp sehr gut zurecht.
Der Klang des Amps würde ich als sehr nahe am Röhrenamp bezeichnen. Nicht die unsauberen und harschen Spitzen eines Transistoramps. Direkter Vergleich mit oben genannten Vox.
Sehr ausgeglichen und mit viel Headroom und Transparenz.
Das kleine rote Teil aus Bulgarien macht mir sehr viel Spaß und bleibt.
Die Lieferung von Thomann wieder sehr schnell. Was fehlt ist eine deutsche Beschreibung bzw Betriebsanleitung.
Im Prinzip ist aber alles selbst erklärend.

Positiv: Klarer cleaner, transparenter Klang
Verarbeitung, Grundidee mit abschalbarer Vorstufe
Gute Komunikation mit vorgeschalteten Pedals (Bei mir immer an, Spark Minibooster, Tubescreamer und T.rex Creamer)

Wünschenswert: Reverb

Fazit: Der kleine Rote aus Bulgerien bringt was ich will, er bleibt.

Update: Entgegen meiner Phobie fürs analoge, habe ich heute einen Amp und Effektmodeller MOORE GE 200 angeschlossen. Equaliser ( Preamp) abgeschaltet und nur noch das Volumen aktiv. Selbst für meine Ohren war das eine saubere Sache. Die fast bessere Ergänzung.

Un amplificador de suelo versátil, con un bonito tono limpio y bien construido.
Eso es lo primero que se nota: una construcción robusta. Tanto en la carcasa como en los potenciómetros y clavijas.
Tiene dos caras, dependiendo si lo usas por XLR o por jack hacia una pantalla.
Cuando se usa la salida xlr tiene un enorme techo limpio, agradecerás tener un buen pedal de distorsión. La simulación de pantalla es correcta aunque si trabajas con tu daw, querrás usar tu IR preferidos.
La otra cara es usarlo con una pantalla, aquí saca un carácter más agresivo y empieza a romper de forma muy agradable a la que se sube el volumen. Un OD o una distorsión de clipping suave le queda de lujo.
No comparto la opinión de Henning Pauly (EytschPi42), para mi no le falta nada de brillo, es algo personal y también hay que decir que él prueba una versión anterior que no tiene volumen de salida del DI.
Sí tuviera que añadir alguna cosa seria un buen loop de efectos.

En cualquier caso, una excelente inversión!!
