I'm a bit confused about the quality, as the red color goes off when I use the brush. I'm not sure how to comment on that. It's suitable for beginners and exercise, but it's not anything more.

It does indeed reduce the sound a lot! The compromise to the sound quality is not that big because you can play in an appartmet with an acoustic set without having to spend great amounds of money to a good e-kit. I use those with the Millenium QuiHeads and I have to admit that they sound a bit more compared to the toms/snare/kick drum, but it can be adjusted by either puting a piece of cloth on top of them or adding a gaffer tape below and at the top of the quiet drum heads to increase their volume.

Eitherway, my experience with them so far is good and I totally recommend for the ones that want to use in an appartment.

This is a great set for the value

It's really nice to have a full low volume set at such price. Even a China included.

We use it in a rehearsal studio and it sounds nice.

Plaisir de jeu en intérieur retrouvé !

En recherche d'équipements pouvant rendre mon set acoustique jouable en intérieur , j'avais opté pour des sourdines épaisses sur fûts et cymbales. Très efficace pour le bruit, bien pour l'étude, mais peu de fun. Surtout pour les cymbales. D'où cet essai pour le set millenium avec china 18" , ma configuration exacte (en plus). Et bien l'essai est transformé, en beauté ! Les cymbales sont très belles,finition impeccable, les lignes de perçages en spirale charment l'oeil,la couleur est originale, de beaux objets pour commencer. Une fois mises en place,le plaisir commence vraiment ! On fait sonner les cymbales,ça vibre,ça rebondit,et le volume reste discret. Histoire de sécuriser le coup , j'ai mis un moon gel à chacune,ce qui contrôle bien le sustain. Petit bémol quand même,qui m'empêche de mettre 5 étoiles au son , c'est le charleston. Un peu grésillant , il a eu droit à 2 moon gel par cymbale , mais ça ne gâche rien par rapport au plaisir que j'ai retrouvé avec ce set. Couplé aux peaux mesh millenium, je rejoue librement,avec de vraies sensations.
