I'm playing Remo drumheads since I got my first drums, and was always satisfied with them. They are easy to tune and I can quickly get the sound I want. Never had any problem with durability.

Remo Emperor is 2 ply drumhead that will provide more control and less sustain to the drum. You get more low, fat and muffled sound then single ply head, and it's more durable, but still versatile - you can get nice high tones as well as low ones. Coating gives nice gentle sound with brushes and last long.

Generally you cannot go wrong with Remo, I tried different drumheads brands, but Remo has the sound I like most, and it's very consistent. When I order new drumheads I know what quality and sound I can expect.

Ich habe lange Zeit alle möglichen Felle ausprobiert. Ob Coated oder Clear, ob ein- oder doppellagig - nie war der 100% für mich passende Sound dabei. Beim Remo Emperor ist es definitiv der Fall. Natürlich ist das Geschmackssache und so wird es auch mit Sicherheit einige geben, denen dieses Fell überhaupt nicht zusagt. Ich spiele überwiegend Funk und der fette, bassige Tom-Sound, der durch die Emperors erzeugt wird passt prima. Die Stimmung spielt hierbei selbstverständlich auch eine wichtige Rolle, aber das Fell ist in jedem Fall zu empfehlen.
