A worthy successor to the old pads.

I bought these for my HD569, I read somewhere that they would fit on these headphones, even though it doesn't mention that in the description, and they do indeed fit perfectly fine. The surface is made of what I believe to be some type of velour, which is very comfortable, and the foam inside of them is harder than the foam on the stock pads, which is nice, as previously the pads would compress so much the drivers were pushing up against my ears. The foam does get softer when you wear it for a while, I think this may be due to the warmt of your skin heating up the pads, which makes them even more comfortable to wear.

Wie die originalen Pads des HD 560S

Diese Pads passen auch für den HD 560S. Im Prinzip sind es auch genau die gleichen, die ab Werk für den HD 560S aufgezogen werden. Ich konnte jedenfalls in Punkto Beschaffenheit und Verarbeitung keinen Unterschied erkennen. Sie fühlen sich genau so gut und angenehm an - nur frisch, fluffig und neu. :D Anscheinend werden für Sennheiser's 5er-Kopfhörer-Serie generell die selben Pads verbaut.

Für einen schmalen Taler kann man hier regelmäßig seinen Hörer mit neuen Pads "auffrischen". Absolut top und eine klare Empfehlung!

Passen auch auf HD598

Hab die Ohrpolster für meine HD598SR hier bestellt da Sennheiser selbst leider keine Ohrenpolster mehr für dieses Modell anbietet. Diese Ohrpolster passen jedoch auch auf die HD598 daher bin ich froh endlich Ersatz in guter Qualität gefunden zu haben!

Foam is different than old pads ( Grey instead of Yellow)

Hello,

I just received those hd559 pads compatible like shown on the Polish website from Sennheiser with hd560s.

You have to apply way more pressure one side at a time. Even if the shape is almost 99% the same, the new pad, is not as easy to put in place.
( I tryed to put back the old pads it was way easier)

I had to buy again the pads, as one of them, while puting them in place, lost it's glue joint, and the Grey foam was visible.

This is the way i knew foam was different.
Grey instead of Yellow, and densier.

The sound signature of the hd560s, has maybe changed a bit, less hissing, high pitched sound, been a bit tamed ?

The only downside of old and new pads, is the glue maintaining in place the fabric layer, to the vynyle side, is way to easy to breake / tear.
