Out of the box, this drum only required a bit of tensioning to the heads to produce a great sound. Quality is what you would expect from Sonor, but the smoothness of the snare mechanism and the precision of the parts coupled with the sound and playability collectively make for a very fine instrument.

Très bonne caisse claire, réglages assez simple et s'adapte à beaucoup de styles musicaux. J'ai eu juste un tirant qui a cassé rapidement, certainement un défaut de fabrication réglé avec le SAV mais étonnant vu le modèle et la marque.

Auch wenn ich lieber in die Saiten greife, war doch der 50. Geburtstag eines Freundes Anlass, mal etwas sinnvolles zu schenken. Nachdem die Snare ankam saß ich eine ganze Weile und klopfte mit den Fingern auf verschiedenen Stellen des Schlagfelles und freute mich über den Sound, den ich hörte. Bei verschiedenen anderen Snares im Proberaum oder der Musikschule stellte sich dieses Interesse nicht ein. Die Obertöne, die diese Snare wiedergibt, machen Freude. Der Mechanismus zum Spannen des Schlagfelles geht wie Butter und die Optik ist trotz des Goldes keinesfalls übertrieben sondern einfach nur schön - im positiven Sinne. Auch der Schlagzeuger war begeistert...
