Good active pickups

I bought this set in order to get an upgrade from Duncan Design. The pickups are great, delivers a tight tone for my 7 string guitar, but they can not capture too well the low end from 7th string while tuned low.
All in all, I am happy with them, I bought them almost 5 years ago and I am still using them!
Pros: not very noisy, tight tone, good for metal.
Cons: not capturing very well the low end from 7th string while tuned kinda low

This pickups are for all who need best of both world, you have passive, active and this one. I remove original Carvin pickups from my Carvin CT7C model and put this black monolith. Now, this is a 7 strings metal beast!
