A strap for my Mandolin

I purchased this strap to use on my Harley Benton mandolin.

On the plus side: The strap is very well made. Soft and pliable, but of decent thickness, and the material appears to be very good quality.
The colour and pattern is very pretty.
The length is sufficient for use, by both men and women, on instruments (It is a ukulele strap after all) in the size range that the strap was designed for. On my mandolin it works out perfectly.

On the negative side: The holes and slits, on the leather ends, to fit over the strap buttons are an extremely tight fit both over the instrument’s strap button and over the included strap loop’s button. It took a lot of force to fit these and for a woman it is rather difficult. On some strap buttons it may be necessary to lengthen the slit on the strap with a knife or pre-stretch the hole so as to get the strap over the strap button.

Longer versions of these straps, to fit acoustic guitars, would be a great idea since the material is of good quality and the patterns and colours are extremely nice.

Punchy strap especially for ukulele

I just bought a new electro acoustic ukulele. I have discovered recently that my picking ability is greatly enhanced by using a strap. I have also found that playing an electric uke is different to all acoustic. This particular strap is tops for design, quality and comfort. Highly recommended.

Habe den Gurt für meine Ukulele gekauft, weil im Stehen das Spielen sonst zum Teil mühselig wird.
Als der Gurt ankam, war er in der Verpackung auf die kleinste Länge gestellt und sah mini aus. Konnte kaum glauben, dass er überhaupt irgendwie passen würde. Es hat sich entsprechend auch heraus gestellt, dass der Gurt bei mir (1,78m groß) fast auf die Längste Größe eingestellt werden muss, wobei ich den Gurt nicht an der Kopfplatte, sondern am Hals befestige. An der Kopfplatte geht es noch gerade so.
Also, diejenigen, die in anderen Rezensionen, anderer Produkte, zu lange Gurte beklagt haben, bzw. Kinder, können hier getrost zugreifen. Große Musiker werden ihre Probleme haben.
Als Alternative mal für einen Gitarrengurt, ist der Gurt überhaupt nicht geeignet.
Der Hersteller könnte da gewiss den Längenspielraum anpassen, damit der Gurt von allen genutzt werden kann, insbesondere auch an der - vom Hersteller - vorgesehenen Position (Kopfplatte).
