Petit synthé granulaire très léger aux possibilités énormes

L'objet est très petit et léger (et mignon). La connectique est ok et le son est excellent.
J'ai un problème avec l'ergonomie des devices de 1010 même si l'ensemble reste simple à controller. Un clavier midi est impératif.
Je trouve que le prix est très élevé pour cette petite machine en plastique.

Too expensive for a toy

Interesting hardware but very toyish and not pleasant to use. Clearly very expensive for the features. Not easy to make something usable on more than an half octave.

Sound : not so bad but if you use the line through mode (even at 120%) you won't be able to hear your input sound unless you adjust the 3 osc volume to 60% or lower. Overall presets are overloaded so you always need to adjust OSC volumes to use the preset. Sometimes clipping noises.

Presets : Few are great, some flutes for example, but the rest is very "overlayered" and hard to mix with something else.

Interface : Too tiny and too much menu diving, sequencer unusable without tiny fingers. Also the "new patch" doesn't give a blank patch but something with already 2 FX, and 3 OSC with samples and default level to 100% so you have to manually remove everything if you want to focus on your first OSC.

Features : ok but it lacks a reverse playback mode, a visible window or a start/end, a crossfade on forward/backward loop mode. Also a keyboard distribution (low level / center note / high level) for the 3 osc would have been great.

Documentation lacks supported samples format (which is only WAV).

j'ai acheté ce petit module de 1010MUSIC et j'avoue que c'est une super petite machine Granulaire.... il ne faut pas se fier à la taille.... le son est énorme en sortie du boitier... pas mal de possibilités de travailler le son ..

Enourmous sounds in a tiny box

A great tool for timbrical experimentation. Lots of interesting textures out of the box, plus all the samples you might want to add. The ability to granulate live audio allows for some nifty tricks, such as making a mono audio signal both polyphonic and stereo. The small form factor may be a put-off for some people and a bonus for others. In my case it was meant to be part of a portable setup, so it's OK. The small box means audio and MIDI ins and outs are 3'5'' jacks, which is workable yet not that ideal. Having said that, the tiny screen it is very responsive and makes the most of the synth (and I have big clumsy fingers), which is totally usable standalone and in a live situation. Of course most parameters are midi-controllable anyway. Given the fatness of the sound, 4 voices of polyphony are enough. Easy to learn and control, and tons of inspirational sounds.
