Excellent upgrade if you choose the right stylus

I'll be honest, I bought this not for the 5e stylus but for the Super Om body which is otherwise discontinued. I had upgraded the OM20 stylus on my deck to OM30 and had read what a difference the Super OM body makes.

It is quite a distinct difference! A crisper high end and the low end is tighter and more dynamic, more controlled. The combination with the 30 stylus makes for a very satisfying listening experience!

Habe mir das Ortofon-System als Alternative zu meinem Moving Coil -Tonabnehmer bestellt, um meinen Plattenspieler auch an Verstärkern ohne spezielllen MC-Eingang betreiben zu können.
Der Klang über den gesamten Frequenzbereich hat mich wirklich angenehm überrascht.
Ich betreibe das Super OM 5e an einem frisch restaurierten Dual 510 (Riemenantrieb/Halbautomatik von 1976) mit 2g (20mN) Auflagegewicht.
Super Sound, super Verarbeitung, günstiger Preis und schnelle Lieferung, was will man mehr.

Bought this for the OM Super Cartridge

I bought this for the OM Super Cartridge and keep the 5e as an extra stylus. I get a great* sound from this cart paired with Stylus 10 on my DUAL CS 505-3.

* great in this context means, that I feel in this price range, you are getting a great sound value. It will meet the needs of most listeners in most situations and set ups.

For most people if you don't A-B test this against others, you will be more than happy with the reproduction for all genres of music. Don't forget the impact of correct alignment, or the impact of your RIAA.

It would be unfair to compare it to a cart/stylus costing 10x as much, or a specialty cart/stylus.
