Must have for recording drums!

If you're serious about recording drums, you really should invest in some good cymbals. I've been messing around with lower end cymbals for ages, and it wasn't until I got the AAXes that my recordings started to resemble what I've heard on records over the years.

Great bang for buck, sound phenomenal! You cant go wrong with these!

Bright, Crisp, Good Value? Look no further

Having spent hours listening to YouTube comparisons and samples of the AAX line and Zildjian A custom, the AAX were just crisp and precise with minimal overtones to my ear and that was the sound I wanted.

The quality of these cymbals is absolutely top notch, and good value for money. The crash cymbals in particular really cut through with their brightness.

If there is a weakness in the set, it’s the ride. As others have noted the bell is a bit weak, and according to Sabian website intentionally small. The design is to make the cymbal more crashable, but not the way I will use it personally.

I’ve added the 10” splash and planning for the ozone crash and aero splash soon.

If you are looking for a quality starter pack of cymbals to build from, you won’t find many better than this set!

Bright with the perfect touch of dark

Many cymbals in the bright category have overtones that make them sound brash in my opinion. Not these!! Sabian has added the perfect touch of darkness to keep all the good brightness while getting rid of those extra overtones. That makes these AAX cymbals absolutely perfect!! This set comes tone matched, so they sound absolutely incredible together

Da mir der Klang der Becken sehr wichtig ist war für mich klar auch wenn ich noch am Anfang bin möchte ich Becken haben die nicht scheppern sondern einen schönen Klang haben.

Preislich wollte ich mich im Mittelfeld bewegen und in einem Set bekommt man immer mehr für sein Geld gerade wenn man sowieso eine komplette Grundaustattung braucht.
Als Hersteller kamen für mich nur Sabian oder Zildjian in Frage (das ist aber meine ganz persönliche Preferenz, es gibt natürlich auch andere sehr gute Beckenhersteller)

Zur Auswahl standen also das von mir gekaufte Produkt und das "Zildjian A-Custom Professional Prom Set". Nach einem kurzen Test im Thomann Store war für mich sofort klar dass es das Sabian Set wird. Ich war schockiert wie die Zildjian Becken im direkten vergleich abrauchen. Wie billiges Blech haben die geklungen im Vergleich zum Sabian Set. Bis heute bereue ich meine Entscheidung keine Sekunde, gerade das 18" Thin Crash hat einen wahnsinns Klang. Die Verarbeitung ist extrem hochwertig und selbst das 16"Crash und die HH Becken haben eine Bell die toll klingt.

Ich werde nicht mit Fachbegriffen um mich schmeissen, dafür habe ich zu wenige Becken verglichen und bin zu wenig Profi, zudem ist der Klang von Becken unheimlich subjektiv aber eins ist klar, man bekommt extrem viel Klang für "wenig" Geld. Ich habe noch AAX Splashbecken nachgelegt und diese reihen sich klanglich perfekt in das Set ein.

Also absolute Kaufempfehlung!!
Toll dass es einen Laden wie Thomann gibt in dem man ganze Beckensets in der Preisklasse einfach mal ausprobieren kann
