I replaced a G2 coated with this and while the difference is subtle, it is there in a more musical note and slightly wider tuning range.

These sound GREAT recorded, but even playing live there's a noticeable improvement on the evans (which itself is a fine head!)

I needed a 13" to complete a kit I renovated as I already had the other sizes. As it happens the only retailer who actually has one in stock was Thomann. But price was very good as usual

Ich habe gleich mein ganzes Set damit bestückt und diese Bewertung gilt für alle Tom größen:

Ich spiele ein altes Pearl aus den 70ern in einer Band, die "Harte Musik" macht. Die Kessel meines Sets sind für die damalige Zeit typische riesendinger. Da fängt auch schon das Problem an: ich habe Jahrelang versucht passende Felle von R*** oder E**** zu finden, aber die sind irgendwie einen Hauch zu klein (ja, ich habe die richtigen größen gehabt, es fehlten nur 1-2mm). Die Aquarian Felle passen hingegen perfekt.
Ich spiele die beschichteten vor allem live gerne, weil sie auch unmikrofoniert in kleinen Clubs einen vollen Tom-Sound bieten.
Außerdem hält die Beschichtung echt ewig!
