I'm left expecting much from firmware updates

This is a very well built unit. It feels super sturdy. The interface is very clear and convenient to use. There's no learning curve if you already know MIDI.

I'm a bit frustrated feature-wise. I won't go into details, because it would feel like a rant, and also, there are frequent firmware updates, hopefully rendering my points moot in the future. Just check out the latest manual before buying, to make sure it does everything you need it for. I probably should have.

At least there's a feature request thread on the brand's forum. So, they apparently listen to our feedback.

Endlich eine DAWless-Lösung

Die Nutzung von mehr als 10 Midigeräte, meist mit 5-pol. Anschlüssen, mit wechselnder Nutzung kann Kabelfrust erzeugen. Das MRCC beseitigt auf einfache Weise, meist mit fast intuitiv erfassbarer Bedienung solche Probleme. Gehäuse, Anschlüsse und Bedienelemente wirken wertig. Der kleine Bildschirm stellt erstaunlich scharf eine durchdachte Menüstruktur dar. Das MRCC ist Router, Filter, Merger und mehr. Auch die Möglichkeit Einstellungen speichern und abrufen zu können ist hilfreich. Leider hat der Hersteller bisher, obwohl drei "Sondertasten" vorhanden sind, keine Möglichkeit einer Kurzwahl von Patches vorgesehen.
Für mich, der Musik gern ohne Computer macht, löst dieses Gerät viele Probleme. Einzig der Preis, zumal Rackohren "Sonderausstattung" sind, ist nach meiner Ansicht recht hoch angesetzt.

Was muss, muss.

Ich bin sehr glücklich mit dieser Anschaffung. Sobald ich es gesehen habe, wusste ich sofort dass das kleine kompakte wunderschöne Gerät eine der wichtigsten Rollen in meinem hybriden Setup einnähmen wird. Sehr übersichtlich und kinderleicht zu bedienen, jederzeit DAWless arbeiten zu können und mit 12 virtuellen midi Ports ist auch die DAW mit einem Klick mit dabei integriert. Alles ist mit alles kombinierbar, und funktioniert wie ich es mir schon immer gewünscht habe. Weniger Kabelsalt und umstecken gehört der Vergangenheit. Super powerful Midiweiche die einem das Leben von heute auf morgen positiv verändern kann. Wer schon Musik macht, weiss auch ob man's braucht. Ich habe es gebraucht um meine Midis einfach vom Komputer zu entkoppeln. Keine Lust ständig Komputer hochzufahren DAW laden. Midi Spur .. ist angeschlossen? Welcher Port .. hat es Strom? Wobei einfach nur dieser Blick auf den Bildschirm schon Inspirationskiller ist, und das ständige Bedürfniss zwischen Analog und Digital switchen zu müssen, je nach Anzahl der Geräte im Setup hat sich für mich in ein wahres Vergnügen entwickelt. Es ist wirklich psychische Entlastung wodurch man sofort an Kreativität gewinnt!
