Thon Mixer Case Alesis Multimix 16

Custodia di ottima fattura perfetta per il mio Alesis Multimix 16 Firewire (identico alla versione USB 2.0).
PRO: le chiusure sembrano molto affidabili e dentro niente si muove. C'è lo spazio anche per il trasformatore, che può rimanere attaccato al mixer senza pericoli. Una volta aperta è possibile utilizzare il mixer togliendo solo il coperchio ed attaccando alla corrente il trasformatore, dato che la parte inferiore della custodia fa da base e non ne preclude l'utilizzo.
CONTRO: forse l'impugnatura poteva essere pensata in maniera leggermente più ergonomica dato il peso del tutto, ma francamente mi sembra vada più che bene anche così.

The mixer for which this case is designed is a complex piece of equipment with many sliders and knobs, all of which are very easily damaged in transit if not very well protected. The fit of the case to the mixer is very exact and there is space within for the firewire lead and the power supply plug and cable. The tolerances for the fit between top and bottom are very fine by mechanical standards, and the 'butterfly' locks apply quite severe pressure to the closing of the case. I don't know if the case could withstand being run-over by a vehicle, but it could safely be thrown about in the back of a van without conceding any of it's original form. The corners are especially strong in the form of globular attachments which couldn't cause any cutting of the user or whatever around. The impact distribution from those corner units is spread through the 3 planes of the surfaces to which it is attached. Metal edges, not sharp to all sides, with extensive riveting, with a firm handle and strong metal feet, is accompanied by firm polished plywood. The interior, has a collection of foam pads with space enough for a reference manual and the cables, and the mixer fits quite firmly without unnecessary negotiation. Once closed, the contents are firmly held, with the whole set of items behaving as one solid block.

There is not much recommendation as to improvement which could be made. The designers have exacted almost every last drop of optimization in this item.
