Just replaced my old Tube Screamer.

I tried this on a friend's board and had to buy one! for a Blackface fender am used with a strat or tele, I think this is the most expressive drive pedal, cleans up well and honestly reacts to the volume and tone controls like a hard pushed amp.

Pros: Clear and expessive eq controls, very usable gain and volume levels, top build quality, and now the power jack has been moved to the top, far better location.

Cons: The design is a little dated, but that's me being overly picky...

For a fender into fender player, looking for some balls to their drive tone with an nice cutting mid end, look no further!

For me, it's either BB or TS or both depending on the amp I am using. The switch needs to be pressed pretty hard on this one but I got used to it or it's easier now.

I use it with my Mesa Boogie Roadster. Most of the time i use it as an allways on pedal. It tightens up my gain channels or adds something special to my cleans.
