When the old one doesn't tighten anymore, just get a new one.
It may seem that there's no difference between the worn out grip and the new one by checking the thread by sight, but the new one will tighten again. Just screw it all the way.
Since it's new it will feel harder to tighten, but you'll notice it will locktight.

Because the iron thread of the stand will never wear down first.
It will always be the inside thread of the plastic twist grip that needs to be replaced.

These K&M spare parts are very decently priced, which is refreshing.

I took gamble that these would fit my Millennium mic stands but they didn't. Nevertheless, the K&M parts are up to their normal high standard ... I think! Thomann told me they wouldn't fit but they looked the same and I didn't listen! Ha ha it was worth a punt as there are no replacement parts for the Millennium mic stands! I also replaced the booms with Millennium ones and they are solid and standing up to the rigours of live stage set up!

I bought this as a bit of a gamble, hoping I could get it to fit on a Millennium MS-2003 microphone stand that I received with a broken twist grip from Thomann (they have replaced it quickly and efficiently). I wasn't expecting it to fit, but I was hoping that it would. It seems like it should be a fairly standard part that is replaceable, but clearly I was mistaken. I have no particular issues with the part, but I can't really be used as a true critic for the item as I haven't managed to get to use it properly.

Toll, dass es das als Ersatzteil gibt

Wie in der Überschrift schon steht, bin ich froh, dass es dieses Teil als Ersatzteil gibt. Bei uns im Schulbetrieb ging der kleine "Kunststoffring" irgendwie verloren (keine Ahnung wie aber Schüler haben da wohl einen Spieltrieb und legen alles auseinander und beim Zusammen setzen ist da wohl was verloren gegangen). Dadurch konnte ich einen der Ständer nicht mehr nutzen.
Mit diesem Ersatzteil, der sich leicht einbauen lässt ist der Ständer für wenig Geld wieder voll Funktionsfähig.

Einbau: Drehgriff ganz abschrauben, dünnere Stange ganz rausziehen, evtl. noch Rändelschaube von dünnerer Stange abschrauben, kleinen Kunststoffring auf dünnere Stange mit Verdünnung nach unten aufstecken, dünne Stange in "Standrohr" einführen, Drehgriff von oben wieder festschrauben, evtl. Rändelschraube wieder aufschrauben. fertig. Das hört sich jetzt viel an ist aber in 1-2 Min erledigt.

Das Teil ist auch sinnvoll, wenn de Drehgriff (Feststellgriff) durch zu festes Anziehen bricht.

Der Preis ist dafür ist auch OK.
