Vroeger, was het altijd een gevecht om dikke microfoonkabels in de te smalle tule te krijgen, met deze is dat probleem opgelost, ze hebben deze ook voor XLRs. Goed gezien van Neutrik.

This is a very helpful & necessary accessory if you want to make cables with a diameter at 7.00 or 7.50mm. You can combine it with Neutrik connectors such as NP2X, NP3X, NP2X-B, NP3X-B, etc.

Might make making cables faster and easier

Since the diameter of the cable I had was 7.2 mm, and the maximum cable diameter specified by Neutrik for the NP2RX plugs was 7 mm, I bought a few of these to make making my own cables a little bit easier. I threaded the cable through one of these bushings and, since the hole in them is 8 mm in diameter, there was a gap around the cable, which I did not like. Then, I tried threading the cable through one of the bushings that came with the NP2RX plugs, and, surprisingly, it fit! Putting them on the cable was not easy, but at least there was no gap anymore. If the gap is not a problem either function- or cosmetics-wise, these bushings can make making your own cables faster and easier. Otherwise, I would only recommend these bushings if the diameter of the cable you want to use is the same as the diameter of the hole, which is 8 mm.
