De pole voelt degelijk en stevig aan.
Je moet wel echt een handigheidje krijgen in het in en uitschuiven.
Wanneer je de schroefringen goed afstelt is het in- en uitschuiven goed te doen!
Daarbij; oefening baart kunst!

Mooie telescoop mic standaard goede grip en niet zwaar ook niet als hij helemaal is uitgeschoven. Het handvat is wat dikker maar daar door krijg je geen kramp in je handen tijdens het vasthouden.
erg fijn om mee te werken.

This boom pole will get the job done for any sound recordist or boom operator.
This is another great product from Rode. The boom itself has some pros and some cons. Firstly the pole performs well in any audiovisual situation.For example documentary,TV or Film. Especially in situations where there is quiet a distance from the crew to the subject.The locking system can be cumbersome at times but is generally good and strong.

However the pole can be heavy even when not extended.This is because of the materials and the size of the build. Which means that it can give a strain to the boom operator if recording for lengthy periods. Another problem is the head of the pole. When a fitting ( Blimp ) is attached and tightened it can still feel loose.

All in all a good strong boom pole. I will definitely keep the one I have and may look into the mini series rode has to offer.

It's not cheap but for the length its able to do i thought there would still be some flex or wobble to it or it would be too heavy to use easily. but this thing is so light and the tolerance of the build quality are so good that at full length it is rock solid. I've seen some reviews say it is heavy, but i dont know what those people are thinking. for somethig made of metal thats 3 meters long i could hold this thing up for ages. Maybe those peopel have never picked up a weight in their life, i dont know but anyone who is a boom operator i think this is the lightest you will get before paying for something made of carbon fiber.
The mechanism on the adjustable lenghts is strong, and easy to use.
